Breezy high ceiling 2 bedroom, 2 full bathroom bungalow. This is a beautiful, comfortable and well loved home with a private entrance and spacious private garden. Garage offers a lot of room to put down your surf boards. Outdoor shower, propane barbecue, outside patio dining, eat in kitchen island, gas stove and gas oven (for the cooks). Immediately across from the entrance to popular beginner surf spot, 'Freight's Bay'. 5 minute walk to South Point surf spot and a 10-15 minute walk to 'Miami Beach' and 'Mr. Delicious' who makes incredible rum punch and fish cutters. Comfortable Barbadian home in a safe, residential, coveted upscale, friendly neighbourhood which is often full of happy surfers on days when the waves are up. Must love dogs (all the neighbours have dogs for pets) and they speak to each other occasionally at any given time. It's a truly beautiful Barbadian experience with rum punch waiting in the fridge for guests on every arrival.
The master bedroom has a king size bed and ensuite bathroom. The second bedroom has two twin size beds that can be pushed together on request. We also have a fold away bed which can be rolled in to either bedroom. And we have a baby crib which I can set up for your arrival.
The ever popular Oistins fish market is walking distance away. There is also a grocery store not too far and many restaurants and snack places a short drive away. You don't need a car but we do recommend one for at least part of your stay so you can explore the island. I have a friend who rents cars at incredible rates, so feel free to shop around but I'm happy to get you a quote as well.
The TV in the living room offers access to Netflix and YouTube.
We have two bicycles for use during your stay with helmets and locks. This is a fun way to explore surrounding areas.
The Blades family owns Coconut Court Beach Hotel located in Hastings, Christ Church (about 20 minute drive from the bungalow). Our guests are welcome to day use as this hotel. They have a rum punch party every Monday and movie nights on Sunday. They also do Karaoke on a Saturday. Sundays also have a great buffet and live music. There is lovely swimming area and amazing beach bar, Captain Charlie's (my father in law), all at this hotel. Definitely plan to take advantage of this perk while staying in our guest house.
