"The staff were friendly and keen to look after you. We had a room upgrade for an extra fee because it was a very quiet time. The town was extremely quiet when we stayed so not many dining options available. It would have been good to have some help with this from reception prior to arrival. "The hotel was on the river front and our room had a lovely terrace and a great view of the water. The room was very large and well decorated with drink making facilities available. The bathroom was modern with a lovely shower. Breakfast was good with a nice selection to offer, including some hot food. Staff were friendly and helpful. Two small minuses were, no lift to our room and the hairdryer was absolutely useless. "
