"Very good stay. Clean. Surprisingly quiet for a busy road. Comfortable and spacious room with all we needed. The shower was small but acceptable. The only slight issue was lack of water pressure. We would very happily stay here again and appreciate the free and convenient parking. Great location for walking to the centre of the city - restaurants, cafes, bars and shops within a few minutes walk."

"This has become our normal place to stay in Christchurch. It nice and clean and the staff are good. Only problem (and it’s a minor one for me) is that the traffic noise from the street can be quite annoying well into the night. "

"The staff were amazing and let us store our luggage whilst we ventured into cbd. The breakfast menu was very reasonable. The rooms were immaculately serviced. Would just recommend a set of stronger dining chairs and the sofa/couch needs upgrading. "

"My daughter and I had a lovely stay at the Fyffe. We were visiting my son who is studying at the University of Canterbury. The room was adorable and comfortable and perfect. I love the little kitchenette with morning tea - and milk!"

"We stayed in the 3 bedroom - King bed, queen bed and 2 singles. It has a full kitchen and lounge and was very clean throughout and very comfortable. the young lady that we met was friendly and had a great sense of humour. Great place to stay and was so convenient for us as was only a five minute walk to my son's house. It is on the main road so traffic gets a bit noisy in the morning but was double glazed so was ok. "

"Lovely quiet place and warm in these winter months. Enjoyed the heated floor in bathroom and the bed was so comfortable. Never slept so well in a motel. Staff had smiles and very accommodating of my requests. Highly recommend the place."

"The air conditioner was noisy and there were a lot of strange noises at night, making it very difficult to fall asleep. I couldn't sleep all night. Everything else is OK, the staff service is very good, some maintenance management is needed"

"My family and I enjoyed our stay very much. The owner, Peter was so helpful and friendly. The place had a beautiful yard and we had a lemon tree right outside our unit, which was very clean and cosy. The beds were comfortable with electric heated blankets to keep us warm during the winter, and the kitchen and laundry facilities were adequate for us to do some light cooking and washing. We will definitely stay here again when we visit Christchurch and will recommend it to others! "
