"We had two separate doctors visits and elected to rent a house rather than motel. The stay was very relaxing, comfortable and convenient. It was about 1 hour drive, but worth it to have space to relax, craft, watch tv and a break from B'hams stress. The house had most everything we needed, very clean, quiet neighborhood, convenient to shopping we needed and spacious. We recommend it for anyone needing a get away for a few days. Definately enjoyed the snow flurries. "

"We stayed five nights to attend wedding festivities for my daughter in Ohatchee. The home was exceptionally comfortable and within a few steps of the lake. The view is enough to enjoy a stay without ever leaving the property. Owners are amazing and easily accessible to answer questions. Check in and check out was “easy-peazy” as a wise woman said. I would go back if only to recharge and refresh. A fully stocked kitchen was dreamy for a cook."

"Very clean property, check in was a breeze, and you are so close to everything! And the fact it was the cutest place ever was just a bonus!"

"Very nice, unique place. Very clean. Bring some chairs if you want to sit out on the porch (the porch chairs in the property picture weren't there). We didn't sleep there our second night, the bed is very close to the ceiling, this isn't anything negative but my wife is claustrophobic and couldn't sleep the first night. Overall the property was awesome, check in and check out very easy."

"Nice and convent"

"This was our first experience in using a VRBO and we couldn’t have been more pleased. It is a quaint one bedroom cottage with a fenced in yard and screened in porch. All amenities are on hand as if I was walking into my own home. It is very clean and well taken care of. We just stayed on our way from New Mexico to South Carolina, but if I would ever be going through this area again, it would be on the top of my list of places to stay. "

"This property was better than advertised, and the owner is very accommodating and attentive to her guests needs. It was very clean, and well stocked. It has a nice deck on the front, and also a large deck on the back with a gas fire table, surrounded by comfortable outdoor couch. This property has a lot of land and is right on the water with a beautiful dock that has a swing. "Raelean was pure perfection! My gal pals (of 37 years) and I thoroughly enjoyed the sanctuary. The owners have truly created something special, here. Everything is so well-done. The cabin is cozy and provides for perfect glamping comfort. The Honey Pot outhouse is also very well-done, complete with composting toilet, separate urinal, sink and interesting artwork. We didn't get to use the shower (off-season), but it is well put together."
