"This property is in a lovely, mostly quiet, residential area not far from restaurants and shops. (Some neighbors seemed to be gearing up for a party one night but all was quiet by 9:30 PM.) The walk to the business district was pleasant and less than 1 mile. Staff at the hotel was very friendly and accommodating. The room and surroundings were clean and comfortable, fine for the price. "A nice spot to stay if your in Ohakune, mid-way between a hostel and a hotel. Can be a little noisy but very comfortable and generally clean, depending on how busy it is and the time of day. Good price."
