This house is a near new holiday home (2016), 4 Bedrooms, 2 Bathrooms, (Sleeps 8)
Modern 4 bedroom house set in a brand new fully gated estate.
Amazing Mountain views
Set amongst established trees and native birds and plants. This home is double glazed and gets the morning sun which streams into the open plan kitchen and living area. There is an outside deck which looks onto Mount Ruapehu and beautiful sunrises. Home has a heat pump in the main area and wall heaters in the bedrooms for your warmth and comfort. Two quality queen beds for a guaranteed good night's sleep after a day on the mountain. Beds are fitted with luxury sheets, blankets, and quality fleeced duvets. Other modern comforts include reclining arm chairs in the lounge, t.v. stereo, dishwasher, microwave etc... Separate laundry and drying room for all your ski gear. Home is very close to all the necessary amenities such as the train station, supermarket, cafes, restaurants the popular Powder keg restaurant and bar. Only a kilometre to The Junction then a short drive up the mountain road to Turoa ski field.

Whether you enjoy a day of skiing, hiking or mountain biking you will be glad to get to a warm cosy cottage. There are numerous nature walks,in the area from beginners to advanced. Mountain bikes and ebikes are available for hire. Dont delay book your summer or winter holiday now in this beautiful natural setting of Aotearoa.

Hidden gem!
Was perfect for my brother and i’s family holiday. Lovely and clean, with plenty of room for all 8 of us. Was so nice having all the bedding and towels provided as well. Would absolutely stay again!

Great place, near the mountains
Our group of eight spent two nights here on a trip to the snow and it was a modern, spacious, and comfortable place to stay. There were plenty of useful items including everything from games and books through to a crockpot. Highly recommended for big groups.

Perfect place for two family’s with separate bathrooms and separate rooms at either ends of the house. Great communal kitchen and living area in the centre of the house. Lovely hostess also! :)

Nice Holiday Home for two families
Very nicely configured house for two families. We particularly liked the two independent bathrooms and separate section for each family. Though it would be nice to have a few more sets of cutleries, dinner plates and mugs in the house. So guests don't have to constantly wash dishes. In return you would save hot water and power. Overall we have a good time there. Thank you.

Ideal ski holiday base
Clean, warm, convenient location(only 23 mins to Turoa Skifield). House much bigger than looks in the photo, good layout for our 2 family groups (3 adults + 2 adults & 2 under 3yrs). The 2 separate bathrooms were great, even though no bath. My daughter brought her own baby bath which fitted in shower base OK. The house is in a group with 4 other similar holiday homes but noise was never a problem as the proprietors live onsite. Gina & Paul were very friendly and communicative hosts and we would definitely have no hesitation in booking this place again in the future. Oh and the trampoline was an added bonus for our toddler grandson. Thanks for making us feel so welcome!

Well-appointed comfortable accommodation handy to Turoa skifield access road. 2 of the 4 bedrooms had bunks, which could be improved by having a full-sized bed under a single bunk above to cater for adults. Proprietors were helpful and informative. Brett Cunningham

We had a great stay with Gina and Paul. They were very friendly and welcoming. House had a beautiful view of the mountain, and was also a nice quick walk to some of the bars etc. Would recommend to anyone heading to Ohakune!
