Ogden relaxing retreat

The VRBO site was not helpful with the check in process, But the host was very responsive and helpful with getting the check in information emailed to me. Check in was seamless and the property was exactly as advertised. Very nice one night stay for us.

Great Stay for Two People
We had a great stay, the room was as described and very clean. There were a couple minor issues namely the bed is pretty tall so any older folks might have issues and the bed is rather loud whenever you move. The tub is nice and large, and all the amenities of a hotel room are present and in good condition.

I should have given the property all 1 stars so my wife and i could keep this wonderful place to ourselves. Easy to find. Quiet private room with plenty of space. Bed was very comfortable.

Lovely comfortable room in a nice neighborhood. Nice fireplace for warmth and ambiance but if you’re a light sleeper it tends to crackle and make noises when it kicks off. They did have earplugs in the room you can use. Provided coffee and a couple of bottles of water. Which was great. Nice large bed and huge bathroom. Would stay again.

Quaint and Peaceful
ADORABLE room. Very nice bath, 2 sinks. Little flower petals on the bed when we arrived. So fun. The property was peaceful, getting in was very easy. Most times with an attached room like this one there is an awkward clunky check-in process, but this one was very smooth. Host was communicative, and we were able to check in without a fuss. It was so calm and quiet; the room contributed to a wonderful little anniversary getaway.

Fantastic getaway
I was looking for a getaway where my sweetheart and I could celebrate our 36th anniversary. Well, this place was fantastic. Quiet, comfortable, lots of windows and light, and it’s minutes away from great little restaurants on 25th Street in Ogden. It’s nestled in the foothills and it’s shocking that it’s so close to everything. The hosts live in the same home, but it is no problem whatsoever. They are great.

We were left high and dry with no place to stay. Couldn’t get a hold of the owner, phone number listed was invalid. We drove to property but no one answered the door. We ended up having to get a hotel. Vrbo support couldn’t reach them either. This experience was super stressful and totally blew our romantic getaway.

Decent Room, Horrible Customer Service
The room was alright. It was pretyy much as advertised, but the customer service was attrocious. I was supposed to get a code to the door to get into the room by 11AM. I hadn't heard anything from them by the time I was getting ready to head over so I sent them a message. I hadnt heard anything for an hour so I gave them a call and didn't get an answer so I left a message. Still hadnt heard anything a half hour after that so again gave them a call with no answer. Eventually I just tried the door to see if it was open and tp my surprise it was. Which kind of made me uncomfortable. About 20-30 minutes acter I got into the room I finally got the code to the room. Not by call though, just a simple message that said "It is ******". I'm beyond dissapointed in the customer service that was provided and wish thwy would have made things right.

A little misleading
The property was alright. But the bed was way too tall for us to get in. The ceiling fan was too low. Kind of weird to not have the TV and microwave on at the same time due to the breaker. Furnitures could have been arranged in different positions so you don't have to watch TV in bed. Also, the owner has a very cute and sweet dog but we were worried about out coming and going as we visit the town because the sog was not controlled very well by the owners. Luckily, i have 2 dogs myself but this place might not be ideal for something who is anxious or scared of dogs.

Perfect relaxing getaway
We celebrated our anniversary by dropping the kids off with grandparents and running away for the weekend. This was the best place to stay! It was quiet (very minimal noise from the host family, much quieter than a hotel would have been), clean, and we were able to relax the whole time. I loved the flowers on the bed when we arrived, the jetted tub was amazing, and the check in and out process was very straightforward. Our only complaint was that the bed was a little squeaky, if you know what I mean. We’re recommending this place to all of our friends and family!
