"Davide is the BEST host, and 6 Stelle is a wonderful, spotless, gorgeous, lovely place to sleep, eat an excellent breakfast, and explore sweet Sulmona. You’re basically sleeping in history right there by the arches. Davide has great recommendations and speaks excellent English. He’s so friendly and cool. The shower, by the way, is great! Stay here!"

"Like a 'living locally' experience. We had the whole floor of a condo building amongst people who were clearly residents. The concierge for the place was delightful- exceptionally welcoming, informative, and concerned that we had the best possible stay. "The property is surrounded by gorgeous scenery in a charming and rustic home. The hosts are a lovely couple who immediately made us feel welcome; providing us with amazing food (much of it grown on their property), and advising us on where to go to get the most of our time in the beautiful province of Abruzzo. The places they recommended were rich with the culture and history of the area, not to mention the picturesque views of the mountains and the Adriatic sea! Would recommend to all!"

"We stayed in Stephanie's house for 14 nights. The house is very well equipped with everything we needed. Great outdoor areas with a lovely large balcony with fantastic views and a rear garden with a gas BBQ and lovely peaceful dining area. Ofena is a typical, unspoilt Italian village with friendly locals and a super friendly village dog. We immediately felt relaxed, despite probably being the only tourists there. "The pictures do not do justice to this great apartment! It is fresh, modern and well appointed. Our host went out of his way to welcome us and was easy to communicate with. We were two couples traveling together and the apartment worked out well for us. The panoramic views over the old town and then the mountains beyond are breathtaking! The location is excellent for a visit to Sulmona, minutes away from sights, shops and restaurants. "
