"Lovely historic hotel in the heart of the city. Parking was very tricky (as noted by another reviewer) and made more difficult with the Christmas market. However, the hotel staff was extremely courteous and accommodating. Our room was a suite with separate living area and bed. The bathroom was modern and well appointed. Excellent location!"

Two things to help improve: 1 curtains need to be more black out as the lights from the street illuminate the entire room; 2. luggage that is left needs to be secure and not left in the lobby. I returned to see my expensive luggage sitting out in the hall where anyone could take it. The staff are always wonderful"

"We only stayed here for one night with our two kids before flying home but it was a pleasant stay. The bed was comfy, room was very clean, sofa bed was made up for the kids already and we appreciated having a kettle & coffee machine in the room. The kids also enjoyed having the games to play on the TV. The breakfast was good, a small choice of hot food (eggs, bacon, sausage) and good choice of other bits (cereal, pastries, fruit, yogurt).
