Even with the river reduced to a few deep pools,due to drought, the house is beautifully situated on the river bed. "This lovely rental was just what I needed. The house itself was very cute and welcoming, but what really stood out to me were the surrounding pine trees, the wonderful hammocks, and the nice little trail out back to the creek. I sat outside at night to watch the stars. Was grateful the owners of the property had shared info about the nearby Lake Ouachita hiking trails and mountain vista views. Great all around stay!"

"Came up from Ft Worth to enjoy a long weekend and ride the trails. The cabin was really cozy and had everything we needed for our stay. The upstairs was a little concerning with an 18 month old but we managed. He definitely loved the large porch and all the toys to play with. "
