Blue Lar Alentejo Litoral holiday house with private pool

Country house in the Alentejano Southwest (Portugal), placed within a 7,5 hectares estate, 10 minutes away from Sao Teotonio, 15 from Zambujeira do Mar and Alteirinhos beaches and 45 from Carrapeteira (a surf paradise).
House is surrounded by madrono trees, cork oak trees and eucalyptus in a quiet place, where the only noise comes from cowbells of cattle grazing in a distant country house and the murmuring of the breeze though the trees. Ideal to enjoy nature, relaxing and retrieving peacefulness and strength.

It has 1 dorm, with two single beds 200 x 90cm. (on the picture appear together) and a fitted wardrobe.

The living room has a sofa-bed (2 beds 190 x 90cm.), also with a wardrobe, a salamander stove, and for your enterteinment, a Satellite TV, DVD player and audio system. Free Wi-fi internet is available in all the house as well as in the pool.

A fully equipped kitchen, with gas oven, microwave oven, toaster and coffee maker, refrigerator, dishwasher, as well as several electrical appliances to simplify your life.

Complete bathroom with shower.

Outside there's a terrace with a barbecue, a flowery garden and a fresh pergola by the swimming-pool.

Besides the pool, there's also a table football and a ping-pong table.

Fabulous stay
We spent a week at Blue Lar house and I must say it was our best holiday ever. The house is beautiful, very calm and peaceful and clean and comfirtable. The location is perfect, close to the beaches and with stunning views. Juan and Taina are superb hosts always ready to assist. They made our stay wonderful.

Cozy and secluded! Very private. Lots of beautiful beaches and hiking trails nearby.
My husband and I stayed in Blue Lar for a week in June. We loved it! The house is cozy, clean and small, but has everything you need for a comfortable stay. We spent the entire day hiking to fantastic beaches and at the end of the day we relaxed at the Blue Lar. There is a nice BBq grill (not gas, but wood!), which we used a couple of times successfully! There is also a well maintained pool area, just for the Blue Lar guests. The region is dry and hot in June, but there is always a nice breeze at the Blue Lar. In addition to be the perfect spot for us, we were also very pleased with Juan and Taina's hospitality. They live next door and they are very friendly and helpful. Taina explained all about the house and Juan provided us lots of info about weather, tides, hiking trails, canoe trip, restaurants and best wines of the region! We followed some of his suggestions for hiking trails, beaches, food, wines and we loved! We are planning to go back some day and certainly we recommend this place to everyone who loves to stay in the country and enjoys tranquility.

Es ist tatsächlich so schön wie auf den Fotos!
Wir waren dieses Jahr zum 2. Mal, zur gleichen Jahreszeit, im Haus „Blue Lar“. Es war wieder wunderschön! Wir kommen aus einer Großstadt und haben die Ruhe, die schöne Natur und die Abgeschiedenheit wieder sehr genossen. Im Frühjahr hatte es viel geregnet und die Wiesen waren eine Farbenpracht aus gelb, rot, weiß und blau blühenden Pflanzen, herrlich. Schön waren auch unsere Küstenwanderungen auf Teilabschnitten und Rundwegen der „Rota Vicentina“. Die raue Felsküste, die schönen Sandbuchten und die Brandung der Atlantikwellen sind Erholung für Augen und Ohren. Für Fischliebhaber gibt es jede Menge guter Restaurants, uns hat besonders das „Azenha do Mar“ im gleichnamigen Ort gefallen. Immer gut besucht, besonders von Einheimischen. Ein Highlight ist auch der zum Haus gehörende, sichtgeschützte kleine Swimmingpool. Hier kann man gut einen ganzen Tag Relaxen, Lesen, Sonnenbaden und ab und zu mal, zum Abkühlen, in den Pool gehen. Auch wenn es mal kein Wetter für einen Strandtag ist, kann man im Umland viele schöne Unternehmungen planen. Paddeln auf der Mira, bummeln in Vila Nova de Milfontes oder Monchique und Silves besuchen. Besonders erwähnen möchten wir noch die sehr netten und immer hilfsbereiten Gastgeber „Juan und Taina“. Vielen Dank für die schönen Urlaube!

Frühlingsparadies
Unsere 3 1/2 Wochen im Blue Lar waren ein wundervolles Frühlingserlebnis. Das Haus steht eingewachsen in herrlich blühende und duftende Pflanzen. Die Vögel sind in einer für uns unvorstellbaren Vielfalt zu hören. Ansonsten umgibt einen eine absolute Ruhe. Direkt vom Haus aus kann man wunderschöne Spaziergänge und Wanderungen machen. In ca. 20 Autominuten steht eine große Anzahl schöner Strände zur Auswahl, jeder mit einem ganz eigenen Charakter. Das Blue Lar ist richtig gemütlich und einladend eingerichtet und man fühlt sich gleich richtig wohl. Angenehme Zutaten sind eine Spülmaschine , ein gemütlicher Holzofen für kühle Abende und ein Ferseher auch mit allen deutschen Programmen. Ein "sonniger" und ein "schattiger" Aussenbereich laden zum Verweilen ein. Die Besitzer Taida und Juan sind äußerst liebenswert und stehen wenn es Fragen oder Wünsche gibt jederzeit mit Rat und Tat zur Seite. Für Menschen, die gerne Ruhe in der Natur suchen ein echtes Paradies!

Kleines Bijou in gepflegter Umgebung
Das Blue Lar-Häuschen ist sehr heimelig und mit allem ausgestattet, was es für einen angenehmen Aufenthalt braucht. Wir waren in der 2. Hälfte November da, und der Ofen hat im Haus jeweils innert kürzester Zeit für eine sehr angenehme Temperatur gesorgt, wenn's am Abend etwas kühl wurde. Die Umgebung ist liebevoll gepflegt. Den Swimming Pool konnten wir zwar nicht nutzen, da er bereits für den Winter abgedeckt war. Trotzdem sassen wir zwei-, dreimal in der Sonne am Pool und genossen die Stille. Die Vermieter sind herzliche und angenehme Leute, die viele Informationen und viel Wissenswertes über die nähere und weitere Umgebung und verschiedene Aktivitäten zur Verfügung stellen. Das Wohl ihrer Gäste liegt ihnen spürbar am Herzen. Das Blue Lar lädt ein zum Verweilen und Geniessen, zum Abschalten und Auftanken.

Wieder ein sehr erholsamer Urlaub, den wir nun schon zum dritten Mal genießen durften.
Im Ferienhaus Blue Lar geniessen wir nun schon zum dritten Mal die Stille, die Landschaft und Pflanzenvielfalt und ganz besonders die wunderbaren Gastgeber. Just book if you are looking for rest and fantastic nature
We stayed for 3 weeks in Blue Lar and had a fantastic holiday. The house is tiny but everything we needed was available. There is a great swimming pool with amazing views and a lot of privacy. i would recommend this house to everyone who loves to stay in the country and likes a quiet holiday. The owners Juan and Taina are pleasant and lovely people. So we booked already for the next year. Then we we'll take some friends with us and stay in the bigger house. .

Wonderfully quiet and tranquil holiday hideaway.
Blue Lar is an attractive quirky property in a secluded valley, with pleasant views towards a windmill- topped hill. The cottage has everything you need for a relaxing stay, within easy reach of some beautiful beaches, our favourite being Odecixe which has towering cliffs, Atlantic rollers, and extensive golden sands. Juan, our host, was very welcoming, friendly, and informative.

Superbes vacances
Si vous revez de dépaysement total et de vivre en pleine nature; la maison de Juan est faite pour vous. Juste fabuleux, rien à rajouter. À part merci à Juan pour sa gentillesse, son accueil et ses bons conseils. Nous reviendrons avec grand plaisir.

Huisje met terras en privé zwembad omgeven door prachtige tuin en natuur gelegen aan een zandweggetje naast het huis van de eigenaar. Gezellig ingericht en met een dorp met winkels op een tiental kilometers. Vriendelijke ontvangst door de eigenaar en uitleg over wandelopties en nabije stranden.Mooi uitzicht op de heuvels in de omgeving. Absolute rust, we hoorden enkel de vogels. Een plek om naar terug te komen.

If you wanna calm down and enjoy the landscape this is the place to be! The house is tinny but has everything which is needed and the private pool is awesome. Juan is a great host and will give you a lot of suggestions what to do and support you at any time.

Pela 4° vez vim recarregar as minhas pilhas a este paraíso!!! Estava tudo fantástico como sempre e até com umas boas surpresas que melhoraram a estadia, que foi uma máquina de lavar roupa na casa de banho, muito bem integrada, uma máquina de lavar loiça "Miel" bastante silenciosa em comparação com a que estava e um bonito arco de madeira na enteada

Maravilhoso local para descansar
Pequena casa em local verdadeiramente idílico com piscina privativa. A casa é ideal para um casal e está bem apetrechada. A envolvente paisagistica é lindissima , não se houve mais nada que os sons da natureza e sente-se o cheiro a plantas aromáticas. A temperatura da água da piscina bun foi inferior a 28 graus. A repetir sem dúvida nenhuma.
