Weekend Getaway
"Wife and I spent the weekend for our 31st Anniversary. Off season and quiet but that’s the way I planned it. Staff was friendly, courteous and efficient. Will be back this summer during the tourist season when the island will be hopping. Recommend Blackbeards Lodge to any and all"

Nice and secluded, ferry ride over adds to. Village roads a bit too narrow for the vehicular and foot traffic that converge upon.

It is an okay place for adult couples who just want to sit around and drink on the beach or at a bar. lots of choices for a good alcoholic beverage but with kids, options are limited. Not budget friendly. Every meal is around $15/person or more.
