The Golden Sands, located in Ocean City, offers everything a vacationer could want without needing to leave the building complex. Enjoy the beach, indoor and outdoor pools, tennis, oceanfront volleyball, and game and exercise rooms! During the summer season, visit the beach bar and grill, sandwich shop, convenience store, and gift shops.

Wake up every single day to the unmistakable sound of the crashing waves at this perfect beach condo! It has everything you and your guests could ever need to spend a carefree and restful vacation. It features a well-equipped kitchen with all the essentials, central air-conditioning, a private balcony overlooking the water, on-site washer/dryer for your laundry needs, comfortable and inviting furniture, and TV with cable.

Things to Know
Golden Sands Indoor Pool to Close for Annual Maintenance From 2/24/25 -3/24/25 for maintenance.
The building provides complimentary WiFi as a courtesy, but it is not guaranteed.
The indoor pool and large outdoor pool will not accommodate children in diapers. There is an outdoor kiddie pool provided for children in diapers.
Per building management, cannabis is prohibited everywhere on the Golden Sands grounds.
Ocean City has adopted a noise control ordinance that makes it unlawful to cause or permit noise levels which exceed those established by the Department of the Environment of the State of Maryland (COMAR 26.02.03.02) or are in violation of Chapter 30, Article V of the Town Code. It shall be a violation of this agreement and grounds for eviction under Maryland law if these noise levels are exceeded as a result of activity on this property. Ocean City has other noise ordinances, which are criminal offenses if violated.

Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). (A discount may be applied for stays of 28 nights or longer, if permitted.) The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. The Damage Waiver fee eliminates the need for a traditional security deposit.

Any unit in golden sands has a great views but make sure u check over the units before unpacking your bags

Should have an option to leave ZERO stars
Room wasn’t cleaned; bed linens dirty; windows had finger prints and smudges all over them. Was promised by manager that room would be cleaned the following day and it wasn’t. Left property 5 days early and promised a refund by Local Operations Manager Susi Rafferty-which we are still waiting for.

The building and staff were awesome and the condo was well appointed with nice little touches. We loved that there was a baby pool for our 1 year old which was still open during our stay. However, I have to give this booking a 2 star rating because the AC was not working. After multiple calls to Vacasa and visits to the building office to report the issue we were finally told that the duct work for the central air was not fully installed and because the home owners had gone with a different contractor there was nothing that building management or maintenance could do. Since it was 80+ degrees with close to 100% humidity through our stay, this made it miserable hot even with several fans blowing. We were even told that in order to get any relief from the partial AC we'd need to keep the doors to the porch closed and drapes pulled or the AC would do nothing... what a massive disappointment since we booked a condo with a view!

Room looks nice but bathroom was dirty, very dusty, with rugs hanging in the bathroom and closet that I wouldn’t even want on the floor let alone near my clothes

Please be warned. Awful experience
I will summarize this because it’s the worst. You have been warned. Stayed in Ocean City 6x with VRBO and Vacasa was the worst ever. Bathroom showers didn’t drain. ( biggest pet peeve), sink faucet was dangling, screen door wouldn’t open, drapes released white powder from the ceiling when opened, the elevators were a nightmare (20 minute wait, you have been warned lol), outdated rooms, stained couches, no toilet paper (which is whatever just annoying), the bathroom lights ha ha omg. Missing bulbs but when I say they get hot you could cook your face on them. Just saying you have been warned. Worst experience ever and the other 6x with VRBO were amazing. Vacasa is an absolute joke. I contacted Vacasa all week. No responses via e mail. I told the lady in person she said ok ha ha.
