Welcome to our vacation house in Florida!

Ocala with the nearby Ocala National Forest is known as the horse capital of the world and is home of Kentucky Derby winners. If you love horseback riding this is the right place for you. The World Equestrian Center ist 18 Miles away.

Enjoy the Silver Springs State Park which is very close to the house with dozens of springs and the Silver River. The area has the largest artesian spring formation in the world with 72 degrees warm crystal clear water all year round. Numerous other rivers are nearby such as the Ocklawaha River, the Rainbow River and the Santa Fe River which all meander through a stunning wilderness. So enjoy kayaking, snorkeling and swimming. These Springs are in reach: Silver Springs, Rainbow Springs, Silver Glen Springs, Juniper Spring, Salt Springs, Blue Spring, DeLeon Springs, Alexander Spring.

Just minutes away from the house you find access to the Cross Florida Greenway and the Marshall Swamp, a jungle-like wilderness. With lots of trails they offer a paradise for bicycling, hiking, roller blading, birding and wildlife watching.
Across the road is the Diamond Golf and Country Club, with 18 holes to play and the title 'Highest Slope Rating' in Marion County.
Goethe State Forest with it´s 23 miles of hiking trails and 41 miles of horse riding trails is only 40 miles away.
Supermarkets, drug stores, other stores such as a Walmart Supercenter and gas stations are also just around the corner.
You are within a radius of 80 miles or less to Orlando with all the amusement parks and outlet malls, as well as to Daytona Beach and to Crystal River. St. Augustine, the oldest continuously occupied European-established city and port in the continental United States is 85 miles away.
This beautiful bungalow is furnished, smart and comfortable. There are two double (queen) bedrooms and one twin bedroom. Master-bedroom has a big walk-in closet. Both bathrooms with a walk-in shower. The master-bathroom also has a bathtub. There is also a big kitchen, a recliner sofa, a double rocking recliner loveseat and a 50' flatscreen LED TV. The former garage has been converted into a carpeted, fully insulated multi-purpose room under AC with a Brunswick pool table for your convenience.

Paddle biking vaca
As described, everything works, pool was warm, good water pressure. Centrally located to biking at Santos and beyond and kayaking at silver, juniper, Alexander, rainbow and the Withlacoochee. Plan to pick up groceries, not too.many great options close by. More of you.drive I to Ocala. Pasta Fiere was very good.

Well stocked kitchen, comfortable beds. House has plenty of space for relaxing. Great location for enjoying many nature trails and beautiful waterways. The house is located next to a busy road. Although it is noisy on the outside, it is very quiet on the inside.

Clean. Plenty of towels/linens. Everything worked. Convenient to Publix/Walmart, etc. 2 great paved bike paths (Santos & Baseline) within 15 minutes. Sandwich Authority for sandwiches, Harry’s ( in Ocala) for seafood, Southern Pig & Cattle for bbq/ribs/etc. Silver Springs State Park nearby. Book a tour of the Grandview Clydesdale championship horse farm… very impressive. We had a great time.

Wonderful place with lots to do
The home is very clean and located in a quiet neighborhood. The pool and pool table leave you with plenty to do when you are not visiting the springs or town. The bed was comfortable and we had everything needed to enjoy our stay. Plenty of stores and restaurants nearby but you are not in the middle of town. It was the perfect spot for us.

This house was just what we wanted. Plenty of room, super clean and equipped, beautiful pool and close to shopping and restaurants. Host checked in to make sure everything was good on the second day. Property manager Beth, amazing. Thank you Beth and Birgit. Hope to be back again…soon.

Very Quite area. Close to major retailers.
Very clean and nicely decorated house. Great shower in master bathroom. Loved the pool area with solar heated pool. Very responsive owners and maintenance people. Had a couple days in the high 60* range.Overall very nice place to stay . Only one thing unexpected was the foreign transaction fees on the rental payments.

Jusr right for us!
We stayed in this lovely residential home for 9 nights in January,2018. It was just as pictured online, although pretty far away from everything except a Publix. We had looked forward to using the pool, and thought it was heated, but it was solar heated. The outside temperature had been cool, so the pool was never warm enough to use. But the house itself and furnishings were perfect.

Enjoyed our stay just some minor flaws one being a “COVID cleaning fee”
Overall very clean, quiet neighborhood and close to grocery stores. Beds were comfortable, satisfied with our stay. Only issues would be we had no dishwasher detergent provided to us so we had to buy our own. You could tell the towels were left in the washer too long because they smelled. Jacuzzi tub did not work. Pool is “solar heated” but it was too cold for us to use while we were there, we did have some cooler weather but it wasn’t even warm enough to put your feet in.

House was clean and perfect for couple stay. It is on a side street which seemed to have heavy traffic so outside area was kind of noisy. Inside was quiet though. Ceiling fan in living room didn’t work and pool wasn’t clean. Small issues that I didn’t bring to owner’s attention. Pool guy came a day late which may have been the issue. Owner and property manager were very responsive to any communication I had with them. Different than some of the VRBOs we’ve stayed in as the house was also a residence it seemed. Overall a nice stay and convenient to what we wanted to do. Less than a mile from Walmart also for things you might need.

Beautiful, Enjoyable Home in an Ideal Location
My husband and I and our two long time friends thoroughly enjoyed a wonderful 4 day getaway to this beautifully, well maintained comfortable home. Prior to our visit, Birgit one of the owners, was very responsive to any questions I may have had and also gave some wonderful suggestions on things to do in the area which were very helpful! On arrival, we were greeted by Linda the property manager, who was very friendly and accommodating as she gave us a tour of the house and oriented us to the local area. She also made herself available throughout our stay if needed, which was comforting to know. The home was very well equipped and some of the features we enjoyed were; relaxing in front of the TV in the two very comfortable reclining couches, playing pool , cooling off in the lovely pool, sitting around the enclosed deck in the lounge chairs, and having an outdoor table and chairs for our dining options. There is also a charcoal grill ( not gas as we had first assumed) for BBQ's if you enjoy grilling outdoors like we do. The home is set on a corner lot next to a fairly busy road, so at times could get a bit noisy when outdoors, however that did not bother us or impact our enjoyment at any point. There are 3 grocery stores conveniently located within a mile or less from the house which was great. If you enjoy kayaking, biking and walking Silver Springs State Park, which is only 15 minutes away, is a beautiful spot! We did the 1/2 day guided Silver River Kayaking tour which would highly recommend. Water crystal clear , leisurely pace with historical highlights, and many wildlife sightings along the way. You can also rent kayaks there and or launch your own if a tour is not your interest. We cycled along the Baseline Trailhead 5 mile paved path just around the corner. We explored bit further afield to Paynes Prairie State Park ( 45 minute drive) which has lots of walking and cycling paths both paved and unpaved which we tried. We cycled part of the paved Gainesville-Hawthorne State Trail which stretches 16 miles from the city of Gainesville's Boulware Springs Park through the Paynes Prairie Preserve State Park. So much to do in the area but we ran out of time. Would definately return and also would highly recommend this lovely home to anyone who would like to explore the area. Great time had by all!

It was very nice and very comfortable, thank you Had everything I needed!!! Hope to go back!! The one thing funny was getting in and out of the master bed very tall I am 5’3 my husband kept laughing at me. The game room with pool table was great.

The home we stayed in in the Ocala neighborhood was very cozy and comfortable. It was very nice to be able to come back from a day of fun to an actual house. The interiir design was well put together and the pictures taken very artistic.
