"This hotel is in a small, quiet village well off the beaten path, which is just what we wanted. But we arrived after dark and there was nobody at the reception desk. We tried to call the number, but our cell phones did not work properly. Outside the door, some people were smoking and somehow understood we could not check in. They were so friendly and helpful! They explained that there is a restaurant behind the hotel, and they would go find somebody. A young lady came and checked us in. Then we ran into Bruno, the proprietor. He showed us to our room and explained to us about using the blind to keep out the friendly local cat, while letting in the cooler air with the window. In a small village every place closes early, so we were concerned where we might get dinner. Bruno had the answer! He also owned the restaurant behind the hotel. He took us over there and cooked up some of the very best bratwurst, which was made by his son. This place has been in the family for five generations and they take great pride in it. The patrons of the restaurant were friendly as well. The room was modern and very clean. We wandered around the streets a bit by the church and a fountain. We could hear cows in the distance. Very pleasant experience!"

"Perfect central location. Communication with the hotel was responsive, helpful and prompt. Check in was efficient and welcoming. Interior (common areas and room) in the second (blue) building seem to have been completely renovated/ updated and are thoroughly modern, stylish, clean and comfortable. Nespresso machine and other in-room amenities were welcome additions. The breakfast offered far better selection than in many European hotels and the quality of the food and coffee was great. Off site (free) parking was an easy 4-6 minute walk from the hotel."

"This is a brand new property, very contemporary with comfy, inviting common areas, bar, and terrace with fire tables. Our room was very large, comfortable and met our every need. Located just outside of the walls of Dinkelsbuehl, about a 10 minute walk, it's a perfect location."

"Great hotel in old town square, walkable to everywhere. Super friendly staff. Hotel private parking is across the street, which makes it ideal. Room was spacious for being an older hotel. Breakfast was good with plenty of options. Wish we could have stayed longer. "

"An all round fantastic hotel with a breathtaking view. Walkable to medieval castle and fantastic restaurants in the hotel and village. Very quiet; we saw deer walk right up to the hotel on the back side. I wish we could have extended our stay longer; will definitely return. "
