"The property was fit for purpose. We used it just to have a place to sleep and visit Freiburg and surroundings. The hotel is clean and the staff friendly and helpful. The room was very small for 2 people and their luggage (2 had fairly sizeable suitcases, since we were spending 3 weeks in Europe)."

"Das Stellwerk wurde originell umgebaut. Ich würde es als eine grosse Loftwohnung bezeichnen. Die Unterkunft hat einen privatem aussen Bereich. Im Eingangsbereich ist ein sehr kleines Gäste WC. Vom Entree führt eine Treppe nach unten in den Wohnraum mit Kaminofen. Die Decke ist sehr hoch und somit befindet sich dort noch eine Galerie mit einem Doppelbett. "This is a brand-new property: quiet, spacious, comfortable. Staff is outstanding: courteous and attentive. The location is not easily walkable to Freiburg’s old town but the tram is a block away. Highly recommend!"

Clean/Modern hotel by the train!

"I wasn’t initially planning to stay in Freiburg, however very glad I decided to stay the night. I read many travel blogs about Freiburg, and they all seemed to imply finding modern lodging in Freiburg was fairly difficult, and hotels are kind of my thing. This hotel was in prime location for getting in and out of Freiburg, walking distance to Old Town (I arrived on Rosenmontag - had no clue). Staff was VERY NICE, hotel was clean, and the room was quiet. "
