"Horses for courses really. Very highly rated by others - walkers and wine buffs, perhaps - but it wasn’t for us. The building is very attractive; the proprietor was very pleasant; the breakfast was good. The room was spacious & clean but badly thought out - e.g. amongst other things, power sockets for the bedside were behind the bed and inaccessible, the loo was situated below a very low, sharp point of the ceiling, the curtains served no purpose at all. "Had a few issues due to booking via Hotels.com, but the owners and staff at the property were great. The suite we had was massive, with 2 bath/shower rooms, and both had great views. There was a well equipped kitchen available if you wanted to self-cater. Free parking on site, and only a short walk to the beautiful town of Traben-Trabach. Only a short stay this time, but I hope to return for a week next year, to take advantage of the hiking, cycling and wine in the area. Many thanks to Niels...

"bei Ankunft n i e m a n d e n angetrroffen-hätte ich Mobilnummer nicht notiert, wäre ich nicht reingekommen. Es handelt sich um ein Haus, nicht bewohnt oder betreut, es läuft alles über Briefkästen, Schlüsselschränke, Automatenausgabe-habe nie jemanden gesehen(3 Tage) Keine Hausordnung vorhanden ! Deswegen hatte ich auch keine echte Möglichkeit, 7 äußerst lautstarke und trink-freudige Polen bei ihrer Feierei zu hindern -morgens Wasser auf dem Flur und mehrere Badelatschen auf den...
