We knew we were in the correct Gästehaus when Herr Huber told us, “Welcome to my home.” Rooms are tidy and clean, staff are friendly and welcoming, breakfast is excellent and location is perfect to everything in Oberammergau. We met one patron who has been coming to this Gastehaus since the mid 70’s. That is a great endorsement for this property.

The hotel was amazing and the breakfast was delicious. It has updated rooms but has the old world charm. My only issue was when going into the lobby it had the smell of cigarette smoke. This was only in the lobby.

Very nice
Very well run family affair. Owner is amazing inn keeper and scholar. Again, only one complaint. Stairs! Steep and narrow. Not for elderly and or handicap.

Beautiful area. Limited parking spaces. We had to park on street. The most negative aspect: cigarette smoke throughout the facility. We checked out a day early because of this. The lady manager was very nice!

Good for a business trip
overall a nice place to stay for a business trip, if you arrive by a train or bus. It's just 5 mins from the station. Rooms are fine for a single person, a bit too small, though. The hotel's been a family house for decades, and it's been remodeled recently as a hotel. Anyway, it gives enough comfort for some one traveling in business. Breakfasts are ok, lacking hot plate though. Surely, ain't place for dems, rainbows or libtards - owners are straight catholics.

Super tolle Lage und Unterkunft!
Personal war nett. Genug Parkplätze vorhanden. Die Sauna ist super. Zimmer sind sauber. Frühstück war auch ok. Lage ist perfekt. Ich kann die Unterkunft ohne schlechtes Gewissen weiterempfehlen.

Gutes Gästehaus mit persönlicher Note
Ich war geschäftlich in dem Gästehaus. Es ist fußläufig nahe dem Bahnhof gelegen. An einem Morgen mussten wir sehr früh aufstehen. Die Betreiber haben daraufhin spontan die Frühstückzeit um eine halbe Stunde vorverlegt. Danke dafür.
