"The room looked much better than the pictures. Not sure if this building is new or they renovated but everything is new and very clean. This is the warmest toilet I ever sat on. Parking was super easy. Attractions are a 3 minute drive or a 30minute walk. So many restaurants within walking distance. There is a mcdonalds across the street that closes at 11pm and a supermarket 5 min away. The lounge is wonderful. You can make coffee, tea, warm up or toast food. Quiet neighborhood. "

"During our 2 week stay so far in Japan, this has been one of our favorites. It is so convenient to the train and bus stops. The staff was wonderful even giving me towels so I could use their foot bath after we had checked out but needing to kill 2 hours before it was time for our train back to Kyoto. We would definitely stay there again. "

"The hotel has been recently rebranded and is undergoing extensive renovations. The bits they've finished, like the rooms and the dining room, are new and shiny. The room itself was comfortable. It's close to the town, which has good izakaya and other options if you're not on a meal plan. There is also a Lawson close-by. "Goodness us…. PLEASE treat yourself and stay at least one night in this beautiful traditional hotel with its own onsen! We had a superbly decorated very very very large traditional room (tatamis), a view of the little port and the sea of Japan with sunset….
