5 Bedroom self catering house, situated in Connel

A beautiful, very spacious self-catering holiday home with a large private garden is a great base for exploring the West Coast of Scotland with family and friends.

Sleeping up to 8 Guests comfortably in 5 bedrooms and with 3 bathrooms, two being ensuite, it has plenty of shared space, this is an ideal house for two families.

Comprising of 3 double bedrooms, two situated on the ground floor and one upstairs with an e-suite. The other two bedrooms are spacious single bed bedrooms, one with an ensuite upstairs and one downstairs sharing a family bathroom with the two doubles.

The living area features a cosy wood-burning stove with comfortable seating to complement this sociable spot with its large open windows to create a bright coastal feel to it. The perfect place to sit down and discuss your discoveries after a day touring the West Coast of Scotland.

Situated only couple hundred yards from the Sea you can take a stroll down to the waterfront in the morning taking in the picturesque views and sunsets of Loch Etive and The majestic Connel Bridge with its magnificent “Falls of Lora” rapids with your morning coffee.

The cottage is only a short drive (5 miles) from the picturesque and bustling harbour town of Oban with its many splendid shops and restaurants to explore, known as the "Seafood Capital of Scotland" with its fishing boats in the bay and the Calmac ferries leaving for the Western Isles.

Connel itself boasts two excellent well-known hotel/restaurants that is great for dining out or just grabbing a drink at and one only a 2min walk from the house – the oyster bar restaurant.

Brilliant stay in lovely location
Stayed in Tigh na Sith for a week in early April. Location is stunning with easy access to nearby trails for dog walking. House itself is a lovely modern home with everything you need and plenty of room. Living room is very cosy in the evening and the facilities are top notch. Will definitely be coming back later in the year if visiting Oban.

Booking process was smooth and friendly. First impressions were fab, checked in early, instructions clear, place immaculate. Well appointed rooms and great layout. Soundproof and lovely touches, like the fire with firewood and items in the kitchen. Plenty of loo roll, great info on local area, fab location. Faultless.

Holiday at Tigh Na Sith, Connel Bridge
Lovely location. Central for exploring the West coast of Scotland. The property was very tidy and comfortable providing us with all that we needed for a great holiday plus the added bonus of the pub being just down the road. Would endeavour to return at some point and would recommend it.

Great location
We really enjoyed our stay.!it was a family event and having en suite bathrooms in nearly every room was a blessing. The property is a little tired and could do with some TLC. First time in Oban and was surprised at how lovely it is. Will definitely be back.

Absolutely fantastic property. It was the cleanest Holiday Cottage rental we have ever stayed in.
West Coast Cottages were amazing, very helpful, knowledgeable and did exactly what we asked for. Absolutely brilliant service. The house was immaculate, rooms, bedding, towels everything so clean. Perfect location, pub 2 mins walk away serving great food and only 5 miles into Oban town centre. Will definitely stay here again. Best holiday rental value for money we have had and we stay in a lot of places.

Perfect in every way!
Such a lovely and comfortable house to stay in as a family. Great location. We stayed for 2 weeks and there is so much to see and do around Oban. Would definitely recommend and can’t wait to return ourselves.

Awesome spot and great for big groups
Customer service is excellent! Proactive and clear booking process and followup! Instruction is clear too! House is neat and clean which is great! Strong shower which make our stay very pleasure one! If anything to make this better, consider putting more toilet rolls for a week booking with full house of people that run very quick. Consider having more cooking pans too.

Tigh Na Sith
Nice house in a good location. Enjoyed our stay. Bedrooms excellent, beds comfortable and towels great and plenty of washing and toilet facilities. However the whole house had a panel floor with a lack of rugs on the floor especially the livingroom and hall. Had to buy black bin liners as only one provided and had to buy toilet rolls as there was not enough provided for four adults and two children.

Scottish holiday
Convenient location at cross-roads between Oban and Fort William. Spacious plot with patio areas to front and back allowed us to track the sun(occasionally when not raining!!). The rooms were comfortable with cushioned arm-chair to sit and read,spotless throughout. Large sitting/dining area ideal for larger family groups, very light and airy. Large comfy couches to recline in. We enjoyed our stay and hope to return ASAP. I would encourage people to use the recycling bins appropriately ( wash out milk bottles,remove tops from drinks bottles,etc.). It seems a shame to visit such a beautiful spot and not minimise our impact on the environment.

An amazing family holiday
We had a wonderful stay here. So much to do right on the doorstep. The house was big enough to comfortably house 4 adults and 2 older children and the three bathrooms meant no one was queuing for the showers! We got to use the outdoor seating areas and the garden was great. We had a meal at the nearby Oyster Inn which was good. Oban has everything you could want and is so pretty. We would love to return one day!
