The bedroom contained plenty of storage and a King Size Bed, finally the lounge was very well appointed, spacious and comfortable, with two comfortable sofas and a huge television."

"Lovely little gem off the beaten path of more touristy areas but good location to explore area of Glenfinnan, Ben Nevis and Glen Coe etc. We really enjoyed are stay in this beautiful little property which was so peaceful and quiet with lovely garden to explore, and that had lovely view from the top. "Kilbowie Retreat is a very comfortable and spacious apartment beautifully decorated but with a homely feel. Its waterfront location is superb with wonderful views across to Kerrera Island. We loved the peace & tranquility. It is a short drive into Oban … too far to walk… where we discovered our favourite seafood restaurant Ee-Usk. The mussels are the best ever! We can thoroughly recommend Kilbowie Retreat as very exquisite holiday accommodation."

"You are staying on a boat on land however it was modernised with flushing toilets and hot water and heating. Hosts Lynette and Angus were lovely and could not do enough for us, loved our welcome treats and nice touches throughout the boat. Perfect for a couple with medium size dog. "We ended up arriving far later than expected and the host was waiting for us to help us in for the night. I had told her it was a super special occasion and not only was the place beautiful, with everything we could ask for but we had a surprise waiting for us in the kitchen!
