Recently renovated home in Alameda island with a 15 minute ferry to SF. The lower level of this beautifully restored home in Alameda is a 15 minute walk to the Alameda Beach and Crown Memorial Park. Webster street is a 10 minute walk where you will find an abundance of cafes, restaurants, bars and boutiques. Wonderful property in a great town of Alameda. First time in the Bay Area and this was a great spot to find ourselves. Garden apartment in lovely neighborhood
Beautifully equipped 1-bedroom apartment. Clean, high-end fixtures in quiet neighborhood w/ample parking. Great water pressure in the shower, comfortable bed. Sleeper couch was adequate. Ground coffee was provided; very much appreciated. The garden is a special treat; mature fruit trees, hydrangea plants, trumpet vines, and honeysuckle…just lovely.

LOVED it!!
My friend and I stayed while visiting her son at Cal. The house is in a great location. Shops, restaurants are a short drive (or walk) away. It is also conveniently close to San Fransisco and Berkeley. The owner was VERY helpful and answered any questions we had quickly. The house itself is beautifully decorated, super clean and the bed is beyond comfy! Huge shower, built in refrigerator, and lots of windows. The charming backyard has rocking chairs to sit and enjoy all the trees, flowers and plants. If we go visit again, we will be back!!

Although the property itself was very well appointed, there were guests staying upstairs with small children, so the constant racket over my head, dragging furniture etc. was unpleasant. I wish I had known.,. I would not have stayed here..

Little Secret Place in lively Alameda, California
I would personally like to tell everyone that this is a very clean easy to get to rental(I need 10 minutes from the Oakland international airport) . It is so easy to get to some of those wonderful restaurants as well as a Shopping Center post office, and a lot of beautiful little coffee shops. The cottage is on the bottom level that overlooks orange trees, Bougainvillea‘s, jasmine and a variety of other plants that are so inviting along with two chairs. Everything you need is right there on a quick trip to the Shopping Center will help complete your trip , we are also very close to the ferry. The relaxing and inexpensive ferry can take you right into San Francisco or Sausalito depending on where you would like to venture. Thank you to the owner for accommodating me with my dates… When I visit Alameda again, I plan on staying here for a second visit!

Nice but noisy
The downstairs apt we rented was clean and very nice space. An excellent location. However, noise was a problem. First night I had to go up and ask upstairs renters to stop playing guitar after 11pm. They said they did not realize people rented downstairs. Also it seemed like there were no rugs on the floors above us as we heard every footstep as well as frequent yapping of the upstairs renters’ dog. This setup should be made clear to all prospective renters. Also, there were no instructions for use of apartment such as where to put trash and when it’s picked up. Host was out of town and it was hard to communicate with cleaning staff as they did not speak English.

Perfect in every way
This property was so clean and fresh, so inviting. Outside garden area was beautiful with a very fragrant trumpet Lilly tree to great us when we arrived back after a day out and about. Super clean, so well appointed., laundry room was even beautiful! Convenient location,extremely quiet for such an urban area. Will come back when in the area to visit our daughter.

This rental was absolutely beautiful, impeccably clean, and perfectly located. A quiet, safe neighborhood, quick drive to down town SF. The apartment had everything you could need including coffee and maker, toaster, toaster oven, cook tops, small fridge, towels, soaps. The garden was peaceful and beautiful. Navin was so nice, quick to communicate and very accommodating. I really can't say enough good things about Navin and this beautiful rental.
