This was our first time in Maine. We wanted a cabin on the lake and this was exactly that. Beautiful morning views. Great place to take in the beauty and relax. Everything we needed was at the cabin. Thank you Pam and Larry for being wonderful hosts.
The property is great. Nice lawn for playing games, wonderful deck to enjoy the view, great fire pit for evening fires! Canoe and kayaks were wonderful, and the loons talked to us a lot.
The cottage is comfortable with plenty of space. Good kitchen with all the basics for cooking.
No swimming in North Pond due to an Algae bloom in the lake.
This place is such an amazing hidden gem. It was so worth the 3 hour drive! Beautiful house on the lake, so peaceful and relaxing. The house felt warm and welcoming. We spent our days in the lake, and it was super nice to have it shallow for my youngest son. I would recommend this place to anyone, honestly it’s become my favorite place I have found to rent. Thank you so much for letting us experience your lake house. I look forward to renting it again next year!!
Thank you!!!!!!!
This cabin is lovely - a beautiful location, very comfortable. Pam and Larry are great hosts; very communicative and helpful. We had a very relaxing stay overall. We had some unfortunate timing, with the lake experiencing a persistent algae bloom that made the water inaccessible to swimming or water sports, but we made the best of it - exploring other area lakes and ponds for swimming (in particular, McGrath Pond had a hidden gem of a local swimming spot!),
I would highly recommend this property for its lovely setting and the hospitality of its hosts. We found the online resources from the 7 Lakes Alliance to be helpful to stay up to date on the status of the lake water.
Thank you, Pam and Larry!
Such a joy to return to this beautiful property again this summer. Not only is the property lovely, but the owners are as well. We had a restful week and are already missing the starry skies and calls of the loons. Thank you for sharing your cabin with us again!
We love this place! This was our second time here and it was fantastic. The house is comfortable and has all the things you could need for your stay. The lake access is great and was a perfect swimming spot for our kids. We hope to come again.
This property and grounds was exactly what we were looking for in our family getaway. Early morning sunrises views were beautiful over the calm water and enjoyed kicking back at the fire pit at night with the kids. The owners were great to communicate when anything came up or for a simple question. Looking forward to visiting again.
Great dock, nice lawn area, and cozy screened in porch. It’s in the woods of Maine on a lake… a great place to enjoy the outdoors. Unbelievable fishing hole about a hundred yards off the dock accessible by kayak/boat. Larry and Pam are super nice and accommodating.
The camp was on the most perfect location. The property is absolutely gorgeous. The camp is definitely older, and fairly primitive from a plumbing standpoint. We were cozy for sure. Definitely do your food shopping in Augusta or Waterville, as the area is quite remote. Note: this is a VERY shallow dock and pond woth LOTS of rocks. All together we’d love to visit again. We’ll just recalibrate our expectations for modern comforts.
This property was great. It is somewhat secluded and very quiet. The water is easy to get in and out of and the lake is beautiful. We really enjoyed our time here.
The owners of this property couldn’t have been more accommodating and easy to rent from… It is a very well-maintained piece of property that allows for any kind of water activity and even has a beautiful grassy area that I didn’t know about for backyard games.
This lovely rustic cottage has everything you need to relax and enjoy camp life. Comfortable and cozy with a nice lawn and shallow water for kids and access to kayaks and a canoe. Our family enjoyed swimming, fishing, and playing games which is just what we wanted for our week away. Thank you so much!
Our family loved this lake home! Shallow beach area for our kids and lots of good fishing and tubing. North Pond is a great quiet lake! We will hope to return to this Great Lake house!
We booked our stay as a last minute week away and it couldn’t have been a more pleasant lake getaway! We had a few questions while we were there and even left a few items behind, the hosts were very helpful and accommodating! As a family with two little kids, this was a perfect getaway with a yard to play in and a shallow lake area to swim in. We will definitely be back!
Gorgeous property on a beutiful lake. The owners were very easy to communicate with, and the process was simple. Would recommend this property to anyone.
A lovely stay at this campsite that is properly named “Blessings”! We had a week filled with family, fishing, rowing, sunning, hiking, camp “firing”, reading and birdwatching...loons, AND EAGLE sightings! Mother Nature and fresh air abound. This listing is accurate in description and more. Enjoy the hospitality!
This was a great spot for our family vacation. The house had everything we could need, the lake was beautiful and the owners were great to work with! We had a beautiful and VERY RELAXING week that our family of 5 enjoyed so much. We all enjoyed swimming, kayaking, canoeing, snorkeling and fishing! We rented a paddle board for the week at Belgrade canoe and kayak too. Just a quiet perfect family get away with lots of togetherness on the lake. Loved the lake by day and enjoyed the fire pit each night!

Home away from home.
We loved this cottage!!! It was clean, roomy, had everything we needed and more. Appreciated the games and dvds that were on hand for the one rainy day we had. We also appreciated the use of the canoe. This is a great quiet and calm, pond which was perfect for canoeing and swimming, paddle boarding etc..... The water is very shallow off the dock so great for younger kids. There is a fantastic flat lawn on the side which we used for games that we brought (like whiffle ball and corn hole). We took advantage of the proximity to Acadia and took our bikes to the carriage trails and made a day out of it. Highly recommend this place for families looking to get away from the noisier, busier lakes. Would stay absolutely stay here again!

Spectacular!
This property has it all: Gorgeous lake for swimming, kayaking, canoeing, fishing and just plain floating all day long...topped off by gorgeous sunsets! And tucked away in a peaceful setting - still only minutes from town for shopping and close to extraordinary golf courses...all just an hour+ from Portland! And the property has every amenity - and is very nicely styled. Clean & crisp living & dining areas, very roomy with comfortable furniture, large deck (and large dock --- sunny all day!) perfect master bedroom on the first floor and a nice bathroom & shower...plus two additional bedrooms and a washer/dryer to boot. There's even a dishwasher! House is shaded and naturally kept cool every day. Plenty of TV and movies if you ever need it. The kitchen is really great - lots of room to prep your veggies & burgers for grilling on the deck. Plenty of outdoor furniture, even around the amazing fire pit! And the kayaks and canoe are very nice to have! The owners are super nice, very thoughtful and attentive - they have such an amazing property to share! A most definite A+ rating from us - we definitely want to stay at this Classic and adorable Maine camp again!
