"We live in the area and try to see Portland more than just day trips. We chose the Heathman Hotel because of its location to the Portland Art Museum. What a great choice! The best room so far. We loved the original windows protected by energy efficient ones. The Library was cool. It's history was really interesting."

"Very friendly front desk persons. Great restaurant on site. Excellent central locations. Great for shopping. Did not like that in room lighting needed to be individually turned on and off ( wall sconces, beds side lamp, lamp on desk) only one was on light switch, the one over the table by the window."

"We got checked as no show and couldn’t get into our room after our plane was 4 hours late. They let us in manually but we could not operate the elevators or anything to get back up. We were told breakfast was available until 10, went down at 9:45 and it was closed. I emailed the hotel when we knew we’d be late."
