"Aldi Morrisons and McDonald's are a couple of mins drive. Restaurants and shops 10 mins slow walk but car park also near by shops. Comfortable stay, we used as a base for biking 15 miles round Rutland water. Double bedroom on ground floor with toilet by the door. Then another double on top floor with ensuite shower room. A twin room and a bunk bed room with main bath room and over bath shower. Very good for large families. We didn't use the kitchen because chippy was also good near by. "

"We had a wonderful stay at the Rectory Farm for the Christmas Holidays. We stayed in the two bedroom loft which was perfect for our family. We saw some fantastic wildlife including a badger, ducks, birds and loved the rolling green English countryside."

"This country home has great potential but needs a lot of work to be up to par, particularly for larger parties. There was good space for the 12 people in our party, but again beds and amenities in the rooms and bathrooms could use updating. It's an old home but I've stayed in plenty of old homes that have been updated as best they can. We experienced a roof leak in one of the bedrooms on the first night, and to be fair the property owners responded quickly to get it fixed. The listing itself...

"The property was ideal for a long weekend we had planned with friends, situated in front of a footpath that led to the park & lovely canel walk. The pool table was a great hit. There some maintenance that needed doing while we at the house which was dealt with by the host very efficiently. There a few cleanliness issues we had to raise with the hosts and they responded immediately to assure us they would be addressed with the cleaners. "The property has a high standard, there are a few things however that could be improved on. Wardrobe space is sadly lacking and could be placed on the landing. Also a chair in the bedroom. Please dont be so stringy with the toilet rolls. Willprobably"

"Lovely house in close proximity to Donington Race Track Co-op near by, easy to grab a taxi or bus Nice and clean, cosy and spacious. Quiet neighbourhood Parking is a bit tricky, off street parking is available first come first serve. "

"The house was just perfect for what we were after. A reunion of friends, where we could just catch up, chill, eat food, drink wine, go for a walk... The house ticked all our boxes. Communication was great. No issues."
