"We have stayed at Uozu Manten Hotel many times and always enjoyed the people working there and the property. It is our favorite when traveling to the Toyama area. "

"Situated 300m walk from ski lift/gondola and the ticket office (just carry skis/snowboard across the carpark and you're there), this hostel is clean and well set up. Mens and womens toilets separated. Unisex showers with antechamber. Communal mirror/handbasin area. Communal kitchen downstairs. Breakfast is plain but healthy (sliced ham, assorted vegetables, soup, yoghurt, cereal, bread (couple of types) and jam, tea/coffee). Very good for a bargain basement place - I will likely come back again! Oh, and they can sell Tsugaike lift tickets at discount price!"

"First time staying at Granjam. Absolutely delightful. Room is clean, spacious and hotel staff are all thoughtful. Be sure to check out their daily dinner set menu...best japanese meals we have ever had!"

"Excellent and friendly staff, always eager to help with any questions. Shuttle is great. Loved that the ski rental shop is right in the hotel. I wish the hot springs was a bit bigger and had more amenities but it was a nice way to relax after a day of skiing. The bar and restaurant is not open during the day which we didn’t realize. All in all a great hotel though."

"The resort was first class. We loved the Onsen which they had both private and public. They had no restrictions on Tattoos. The breakfast was great and we saved a lot of money on dinners since they had free wine, soups, miso, udon, etc every afternoon. "
