"I'm not usually the one to write a bad review but our experience was just very bad here. There is no reception and that's why we called ahead of time ensure we came to the right place, the guy on the phone was less than helpful. We followed the advise and directions from Expedia and ended up in the vicinity. We called the number yet again and no one answered. Mind you it was raining and we were waiting outside walking around trying to figure out where the building is for two hours... the guy...

"A free breakfast included 7am to 10am included 3 choices of sandwich meats , cheese slices, coffee teas milk, cereal.kilk juice yogurt, fruit cocktail, breads, bun,Butter/Jams. The reception staff were patient and helpfull in giving directions map for subway/ train as I don't speak German. It was quiet albeit it was Christmas eve. "

"Great location, great room & breakfast available. Slightly concerned that 20 minutes after arriving to our room someone else unlocked our door and said they’d been assigned this room. After asking the staff what happened they said “it doesn’t usually happen” but never apologised"

"Worst place i have ever stayed. Not good sorroundings, there is drunk guys on the lounge, the room are smelly and hot with no ventilation. The hostal faces the train station so you wont get to sleep, because the train wont stop trough the night. The staff makes fun of you and has a bad attitude, i had to leave this place on mi first night and they wont give you a refound. When I told the reception lady that the train is way to noisy, she said: what do you expect if it is beside the train...

"It is a simple and nice accomodation for low budgets, right behind the Tempelhofer Feld. Very dog friendly! "

"We were surprised to have such a great experience at the Happy Bed hostel. The linens were clean and fresh as well as the beds and bathroom. We took our own towels so cannot speak about the towels. The breakfast had a variety and was clean all around. The place is worth the price and would stay again. The walk to Alexanderpaltz was not too far. Although getting to the place was a bit scary as the neighborhood was not too clean but upon entering the Happy bed hostel and the rooms felt safe and...

"Beds are way out of date. Pillows were really dirty but luckily the sheets were clean. Very bad soundproofing and people in next door were really loud too. Location is the best you could get."
