We had a great Snorkeling trip that was arranged by the front desk. Make sure to bring your camera. We didn't because we thought it would get wet. Overall I would recommend this hotel.

"Really nice spot, right across from the water. Easy walk on the beach or through the town into Nungwi with lots of bars and restaurants. Property was clean, the room and patio area were very spacious. The area felt safe. Staff were very kind and helpful."

Very industrious and friendly people, but the infrastructure could use lots of work, especially the roads and the school that we visited. The people make the best of what they have but they need help.

There are much nicer places to stay in Nungwi. If you are a westerner going, be prepared to be "hustled" constantly by the locals. There are some small shops selling tourist items and clothing that are ok.
