"I had an absolutely incredible stay at Cocolala Beach House in Zanzibar! From the moment I arrived, the warmth and kindness of the staff made me feel right at home. The manager went above and beyond, ensuring a welcoming and seamless experience—her hospitality truly set this stay apart. The room was wonderfully comfortable, with excellent air conditioning and an overhead fan, making it a perfect retreat after a day in the sun. One of the standout moments for me was when I had early morning scuba dives—since breakfast was served later, the manager thoughtfully prepared a to-go breakfast for me, a small but incredibly meaningful gesture that made my experience feel truly 5-star. Beyond the fantastic service, I loved the outdoor space—a peaceful porch and well-kept surroundings, ideal for relaxing. The location is unbeatable, just steps from the beach and within walking distance of amazing restaurants. If you're considering where to stay in Zanzibar, I highly recommend Cocolala Beach House for its comfort, charm, and exceptional hospitality. I would absolutely stay here again!"

"Highly recommend this hidden GEM right on Nungwi beach hidden along with the other many hotel that are much more expensive and less personable. We easiley booked EXPEDIA all inclusive with airfare and breakfast, however they also have packages with other meal times. Their customer service when communicating or asking questions by email or WhatsApp was great. They have rooms on the ground floor and up 3 stories with beautiful views of the ocean or the gardens. Aprox. 60 min from Zanzibars internationl airport this hotel named Double A Nungwi Beach is gated and secure. You are greeted with smiling faces, cool hand towels that is refreshing, and handed a glass of tasted hibiscus juice. Ready for hotel tour and then shown to our room. Clean and always has hot water. Lovely decorated and the bed is displaying the beauty of their gardens. Astonishing views from the bar and restaurant and pool area. Inclusive breakfast was very good, with mutliple options to pick from. Eggs any way, waffels, freshly melt in your mouth warm donuts and pastries. Fruit, cheese and everything else breaksfast. The menu for lunch and dinner is expansive and you can tell Chef Rashid puts his passion into all of his meals he prepares. Food flavour is big for us and the way he prepared all of our dishes was palatable for a king and queen. There are also indian and vegetarian options. We felt very special with each bite we took.
