Along with a conference center, this vacation home has coffee/tea in a common area and conference space. Self parking is free. Additionally, laundry facilities, a 24-hour front desk, and a library are onsite. All 7 individually decorated homes feature pillowtop beds and DVD players. Guests can enjoy upscale touches like indoor private spa tubs and deep soaking tubs, along with Egyptian cotton sheets and pillow menus for a bit of added comfort. Absolutely gorgeous view from large private balcony and easy access to walking tracks on property. Need to take your own food to prepare in large communal kitchen with cosy fire. Friendly, helpful and knowledgeable staff.. Thankyou Mitch.

We loved the property: amazing views, the untouched rainforest, its peacefulness, the friendly and helpful service by the property manger, the facilities, its location to national parks like Springbrook. The view is simply stunning.
Astonishing view from the retreat! You won't find much better views than this, in Springbrook, and that is from your room! The rooms are cute with a gorgeous bathroom and (clean) hot tub overseeing the beautiful landscape. The location is amazing if you want to be far from everyone and enjoy the nature. Remember to bring food as you're far from civilization. Also be aware, the last 5km to the retreat is uphill dirt road. It's a bit of a tough drive for city cars. On the minus side, the kitchen needs a good rub 'n scrub and the overall state of the retreat is worn, but that doesn't take away a very comfortable and amazing stay.

Thankyou so much for the incredible stay. Mitch welcomed us on arrival and was so friendly and helpful telling us local walks and suggestions. The view from the rooms is incredible. Such a nice touch that the fire was lit for us in the evening also. We will definitely be back- for the bathtub alone its worth it. Thanks guys

We came here with a 3.5 yr old to get away from the hustle and busy of busy reality and spend time in the close by Springbrook National Park. The views from this place were mind-blowing, the staff were also super attentive and had great local knowledge of the area and natural environment. Great place to feel connected with nature and feel at home. would defiantly come back : )

Remote property at the top of an unceiled road and I'm beautiful views and the sound of wild life all around . Big bath tub also overlooking the mountains .No air conditioning , questionable cleanliness

Lovely location with very tired and very dirty accommodation! Owner obviously doesn’t care!! Wish I could post pics of the cockroach in our small fridge, the dirt on the floor! Everything is grubby bordering on disgusting! Stuff laying everywhere!!! The flies in the share main fridge topped things off!! Could be so awesome with some love!!! Interesting they don’t want pets with owners but happy for a cat bowl and food in foyer!!! Also feathers everywhere... the cat loves the property and our feathered friends as demonstrated this morning! The only positive was Mitch the groundsman who took us on a walk of area!! Very disappointing and suggest don’t book unless things change dramatically!!!

I have only positive things to say.
A retreat on a mountain, with a bath and a window that overlooks the valley below. We saw at least two ginger cats, one of which opened a screen door to come into the room to say 'Hello, I am cat' and then leave. There was an almost infinite amount of green tree frogs at night. It is almost impossible to be unimpressed with green tree frogs in those numbers, if you don't like frogs, you are a degenerate. Watching fog roll over the entire building, hang out a bit, and then roll away, was an absolute delight. It's quite a schlep up the mountain, so probably get your 2003 Toyota Echo a service before you take a run at it. Some cows like to stand all over the road too, so be prepared to chill, while they slowly decide to walk around you and give you dirty looks for making them moo-ve. Good joke... If this app would let me upload video, I could display some proper good sights.

Absolutely gorgeous retreat/property - the atmosphere is simply beautiful and relaxing, such a nice place to escape to - the views were absolutely spectacular - super comfy bed, we slept so well! Nice balcony to sit & look at the gorgeous view, and privacy screens so you feel you are alone in your own area - great common area that had everything you could possibly need with kitchen, big lounge, fireplace, and more beautiful verandah space - just a lovely place to stay and get away from it all - great place for couples to stay! Tracey our host was amazing, couldn't have been more friendly and helpful - we'll definitely be back that's for sure :-)

Would never book through Wotif again!! The place we stayed at didn’t have a booking for us as Wotif never advised them. They were great though as was able to give us a room luckily. Beautiful area and views. Better to take own food as drive their is a while from restaurants. Communal

The tranquility and views were the best. We left fully recovered and free of stress (after having our 8 grandchildren stay at our home). The very small wine fridge was inadequate and did not keep our drinks or cheese cold was the only fault.

Great location and views! Host was very hospitable and accommodating Minuses- The bathroom was leaking in our room.. water in our bedroom too. The exhaust system in bathroom was not working properly as well. Further, a cat managed to get into our bedroom during the night.. we did leave the door open but we were not forewarned of such possibility

It's a great spot to get away from it all, with an amazing view over the valley. Just a few things let the stay down, room and facilities were not very clean at all, generator was not running when we came back and the power was off (including fridges), hot water ran out after filling the spa bath, gas ran out in the morning while another couple were making breakfast. The staff on call were great to respond to these issues, but not being on site meant they were a 30min wait till items were resolved. This place just needs some maintenance to restore it to its full potential.
