Arranged lunch for us at a local hotel and breakfast was truly a feast. My granddaughters loved the swimming pool. We will definitely use this hotel again on our way back through France. "We were booked for Aug.29. On aug. 27 I received a message from Chateau de Seurre that there was an error in the payment method and to contact them to avoid cancellation. I called but got their answering machine. I messaged them that I would pay cash if credit card was a problem for them. I got no response. I went to the Chateau on the 28th, the day before my reservation to make sure there was no problem. The gate was locked and had a message saying that they were fully booked. I called again...

"It was not expensive. There is no room cleaning service during your stay unless you pay extra. Our first room was on the top floor which is affected by roof beams. And it was small. We were moved at no cost to a much better room. All of the staff are friendly and accommodating. The rooms, and beds, and pillows should be updated, but it is not an expensive hotel. The breakfast is good, but exactly the same every day. So, overall it was a good experience."
