"The property has a great location very close to town. We loved the access to everything. The property was clean, and the vaulted ceiling and fireplace were nice. It snowed the day before we arrived and checking in to a property at 40 degrees left quite a bit to be desired. For future guests having someone turn on the heat working ld be nice. "This A-frame house near Idyllwild is nice enough but is not what I would call 5 stars (having stayed at other 5 start VRBO properties). The house was large and clean, but did need some work (e.g., chipping paint). In addition, there were no special "things" that pushed it to that Excellent rating; e.g., a welcome note, etc. Also, one should be aware of 3 VERY important things not mentioned in the listing. One, to get from the driveway to the stairs shown in the photo is a steep, dirt/stone...

"A nice, small cabin nestled between the trees. View is beautiful and location is private. Wood burning stove is warm--1 bundle of wood is provided but I would recommend purchasing 2-3 bundles per day. We loved the hot tub (although it didn't heat up until the next morning). "
