The Space:
Beautiful textures, raw and salvaged materials create an inviting hideaway on Tasmania’s rugged coastline.
This cabin-style home features architectural angles, natural light, premium finishes, and incredible ocean views. The home has been uniquely designed with kitchen and living areas and the bedrooms connected by a patio to offer space and privacy.
Signature wood panelled walls throughout, high ceilings and beautifully styled, the home’s large kitchen is fully equipped with modern appliances to cook delicious meals to share. The cosy living room overlooks the coast, and features a wood fireplace, creating the perfect reading or entertaining space.
Boasting three bedrooms, each with serene native bush views to wake up to, the home can host six guests. Two bedrooms feature queen size beds, and the third bedroom has two single beds, ideal for young children to share.
Stunning spacious bathroom with a mix of tile and timber textures and walk-in shower. Separate toilet and vanity conveniently located next to the bathroom.
Outside, the home is connected with large decks and patios to spend time relaxing, or enjoy the purpose built wood fired sauna to re-energise. The deck also features an outdoor bath to cool off from the sauna or warm-up on a crisp evening.
For those who enjoy indoor entertainment, the property boasts a well-equipped games room including a Foosball table, providing endless fun for the guests of all ages.
The home is completely off-grid with solar power, tank water and gas oven and cooktop. For added comfort, all windows are double glazed with insulated floors, walls and ceilings.
Walk along, or surf in the nearby Roaring Beach. Local shops and cafes are only a 15 minute drive away, and the spectacular 3 Capes walking tracks and Shipsterns Bluff all within a 30 minute drive

Guests have full access and private use of the entire property.
The Neighborhood:
Nubeena is a small and relaxed holiday and fishing village on the Tasman Peninsula, 113km (90-minute drive) south-east of Hobart and 12 km from Port Arthur. A favourite destination for surfers, drawn to the town for the great waves at Roaring Beach and White Beach, which are also popular swimming spots.
Venture to the historic Port Arthur site, Tessellated Pavement or for those wanting to be more active, venture to Cape Raoul, just a 35 minute drive for a 5 hour return walk.
Local shops, cafes and Nubeena Xpress IGA for groceries are just a 15 minute drive. Enjoy an abundance of local produce, wineries and distilleries with 1830 Restaurant and Bar, and McHenry’s Distillery and Brewery, both 25 min drive. Try Cottage Garden Café at Saltwater River for fantastic Devonshire teas overlooking Norfolk Bay, just a 20 minute drive from the property.
Getting Around:
Nubeena is a 90-minute drive from Hobart, it’s best to hire a car to travel to and around Nubeena and explore the surrounding region. You can rent cars from Hobart Airport from Hertz, Thrifty, Avis, Budget, Europcar to name a few.
