"Bon rapport qualité/prix. Propriétaire agréable, cependant la propreté du logement n'était pas optimale et la piscine était vraiment froide alors que c'était la raison principale de notre réservation, mais nous nous y sommes baignés au début seulement et pour la suite nous sommes allés à la plage car l'océan nous semblait moins froid. Dommage. Sinon on a bien profité du court de tennis en famille, et l'environnement est très calme. "

"Lovely place. Loads of space for us 4 families to spread out across the 2 separate houses. (Handy to put the teens in the end one on their own). Weather was very hot so we really appreciated the pool, the shade of the walnut tree and the Bluetooth speakers. A couple of extra parasols would have been great, but we managed fine. So much to see in the area. The Owners Direct site needs to be amended on page 5 where it states Air conditioning which it does not have, also towels provided, this would be at extra cost. "Nous sommes arrivés le vendredi soir pour un week-end familial près de La Rochelle. Après des échanges durant la semaine pour organiser notre arrivée, et l'envoi d'un mail d'explication de Madame JOURDAIN. L'arrivée à été conforme à ce qui avait été convenu. Accueil très chaleureux. Madame JOURDAIN a été disponible tout le week-end si besoin. Le logement, propre et adapté pour toute la famille correspondait parfaitement à nos attentes. "Well presented property, conveniently located for the town and the bus from the airport. If I have one suggestion, it would be to include some kitchen basics - bin liners, washing up liquid and a couple cloths. These have all been at other similar properties. Leider konnte ich den Host nach unserem Verlassen nicht mehr erreichen. Ich hatte etwas Werthaltiges in der Unterkunft vergessen. Es wäre schön und wichtig, bitte noch einmal Kontakt aufzunehmen."

"We had a lovely stay here. The reception staff were really welcoming and helpful. I was a bit surprised because the room picture was of twin beds with space between, but it was made up as a double. I was travelling with my son, so ended up sleeping on the sofa bed, which was easy to pull out, had a bottom sheet already on and additional pillows etc were in the cupboard. The wall cupboards weee tricky for me, as I’m only 5’1” tall!! Fortunately my son is 6’ tall and was willing to reach things...

"In a quiet area within easy walking of city centre, beaches, local shops. Could have been better if there was a bit more information about getting around eg buses, ferries, bikes etc. Staff always polite. "

Great hotel

"Lovely hotel in the heart of La Rochelle. We had a room in the annexe which was good because at the time there were extensive renovations taking place to the exterior of the main building which was shrouded in green fabric. Internally it was renovated I believe last year to a very high standard and was modern whilst retaining many original features. Parking available on site is a must, at an extra cost, but is well worth the charge. Breakfast was plentiful and very busy but we always managed to get a good table. The staff were all extremely efficient and although their English was better than our French, they let us persevere in French, at our request. Lots of good restaurants and bars within a few minutes walk. Really can’t fault this hotel. We would definitely book again on future visits. "
