"We had a very pleasant stay in this centrally located hotel, which still offered a peaceful and quiet atmosphere. The room was clean, and the staff were friendly and welcoming throughout our visit. The highlight was definitely the rooftop pool, which offered a stunning view of the surrounding mountains. The onsen and sauna facilities were also very enjoyable and added to the relaxing experience. I would gladly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Beppu."

"We stayed two nights but found that there were a lot of tour groups/ busses there so it got a little crowded on the 3rd floor onsen floor and elevators took some time. Older facility but staff are great and attentive. Parking next door is very convenient as well"

"We had an amazing stay at Hana Beppu, the food and onsen was wonderful! My only critique would be the washroom didn't come with a toilet brush to clean it so have to use hand. Perhaps all rooms should come with one. But overall we had a pleasant time here! "

"Such a great stay. The location is near to both the bus station and the train station. The room is very well equipped and clean. There is also a lounge where you can hang out during the stay. Check in staff was so nice and got us a room upgrade. Would definitely be back here when we visit Yufuin again"

"The check-in process was very smooth from the moment we were greeted as our car pulled into the property. We were able to do some pre-check in as we arrived in the morning and allowed to park our cars there as we explored the town and shops. "Nice property just off the main street, near train station. It is pet friendly with 3 resident cats roaming around the lobby. You get to book 2 sessions at the baths after checked in, the semi open bath on the 2nd level is popular, while the rooftop bath may not be a good idea in cold weather although the view is great. You get free use of the bicycles for your stay. There is no lift so you have to carry your luggages up and down the stairs."

"Stay away from this hotel: no person in the front desk; the heat was not working (-2 Celsius); no one answered the phone for customer service … worst nightmare for my stay in a foreign country that only a few persons speak English. I will try to dispute the charges for my stay. I was disappointed that Expedia didn’t step in to help!! Very frustrating and un-professional "

"We stayed in this hotel for 2 nights while exploring Beppu and the surrounding areas. The hotel was clean and the staff were very friendly and helpful. The staff spoke excellent English which made check in and asking for help easy. The hotel is located right by the train station and there is ample car parking if you are renting a car. We had a very comfortable stay and would stay again. "
