For outdoor enthusiasts, a 15-minute drive takes you to the Krka River\'s Otočec Canyon, perfect for hiking and nature walks. A number of scenic hiking trails are also nearby to appreciate the unique beauty of the Dolenjska region.

Easy day trips include visiting the stunning Škocjan Caves, a UNESCO World Heritage site, a 90-minute drive away. The nearest international airport is in Ljubljana, about a 70-minute drive from the cottage. Conveniently, there\'s a supermarket just a 5-minute drive from your apartment.
