"The actual stay was excellent, once we had accessed the property. Unfortunately Expedia do not allow other companies such as Numa to access their customers emails and mobiles. This was a problem because Numa send their access information, including codes to the property via WhatsApp. We turned up at the building unable to enter. Eventually, after excellent communication with Numa (and a helpful young couple!) we were able to access the property and had no further problems. The property is right...

"Got back yesterday after a 3 night stay, great location, right near the water front, a short walk to St Marks square and a little supermarket just over the bridge. It was a little bit tricky to find first time, but that’s expected in Venice, lots of little streets and alleyways! The accommodation had everything we needed, the room was spotless as was the private bathroom. "Fully enjoyed my stay in the apartment! No-frills but simple and clean. The partner hotel's customer service was great! Apparently there is not breakfast included like this website advertises. The hotel did allow us to have the buffet each day included."

Peaceful Location

"Just superb. The rooms were comfortable , the breakfast more than excellent and the best part was the vaporetto into Venice stops in front of the hotel. The lounge area in the front of the hotel is super comfy. Murano has a lot of shopping, and once the tourists are gone it is very quiet with still lots to do. "

"Definitely would choose this location again. The hotel is in a perfect place if you drive to Venice and need to leave the car in those lots the hotel is 3-5 minutes walk. Also you can easily get to San Marco by foot. The hotel staff is very friendly and attentive to all your needs. The rooms are packed with amenities. "

"This was my first trip to Venice and the Hotel Cavalletto e Doge Orseolo was a great location for us to explore Venice from. Like most structures in Venice this obviously is an older building, but it is very well maintained and updated. They also had a very good full breakfast buffet included with the room. My only complaint was there was no hot water on our first morning, but they fixed that as soon as we notified them."

Amazing!!!!

"Ok! This place is a hidden gem!!! And i do mean hidden it is down an alley that most people would avoid! But i say this to you my friend! GO DOWN THAT ALLEY!! The rewards are more well than you can imagine! This hotel is an amazing kind and remakably cool place. It reminds me of a really upscale brothel in design. But the kindess of the staff is unparalleled. And the breakfast was amazing and the beds were awesome ... just sayin i liked this place"

"The location of the hotel is great! Staff were wonderful and friendly. Front desk Marteno was awesome! Super helpful. Google maps put us in the back of the hotel but someone who worked at the hotel knew we were confused and pointed us in the right direction. I would definitely use this hotel again. Location was everything. "
