"We had a lovely stay at Furio’s apartment in Taormina. There were two couples in our group. The location was excellent, just a short walk to the downtown area with wonderful shops and a variety of restaurants. Furio kindly arranged valet parking for us (20 Euro per day) and a private tour of Mt Etna (60 Euro per person). "Christian and all the staff were really nice, courteous, caring, kind & hospitable. We were worried about the "wooden plank" and river comments in a few reviews. While it should be properly fixed, there was really no issue. We stayed on the top floor and we are tall so I will have to say don't stay on the top floor if you're tall! "This property has everything you need for a relaxing and a holiday to explore, being close to Etna and not too far from other interesting places such as Taormina, Syracuse and we even ventured up to Vulcano for the day. The property itself was nice, clean and close to good shops. One thing we were not aware of is that you need swimming bars in the pool but they can be bought in the local shop for €1.50. We had a great holiday and will likely return."
