" AVOID AT ALL COSTS. This is not a hotel, this is a 1-star hostel at hotel prices. Two critical points: 1.) The hotel had a full on cockroach infestation. Our room was crawling in cockroaches (pictures included) 2.) Given the cockroaches, we asked for a refund on 1/3 nights. The host confirmed he would refund, but never did…. "This is very much a hidden gem. It was like a little oasis. We especially enjoyed the pool, hottub and jacuzzi. The place was very clean and the area very quiet. The host was extremely attentive and went above and beyond to ensure our stay was great. We will definitely stay here again when we are back in the area."

"We came at 6:15 pm when confirmation letter said check-in is till 7 PM. NOBODY was there, reception locked with a sign OPEN. Tried to find anybody, no luck. Booked another hotel and went there. Need our money back. El Mul must let people know that they are a kibutz, not a hotel. That makes a slight difference. Other kibutzim are stating that in their title."

"We had a feeling of a bit of false advertising, as the place is wedged between two active farm and house hold. The bathroom and toilet were smaller than most tiny apartments in TLV or NY. The bed was small (I'm 1.80m and could not sleep comfortably there).extremely noisy. The pool, while heated (great) was also on the shallow side ~1.10-1.20 and next to an active warehouse. "

"We stayed at “Dovdevan” cabin for 2 nights (family of 4). The sleeping area for the kids was good with a comfortable mattress and a TV. We had a nice Jacuzzi (we didn’t use the sauna). However, the bathroom was uncomfortable with no stall , so all the bathroom area was full of water after each use. The area around the cabin/room is very lovely with plenty of trees ,shade and a playground. You can use the kibbutz’s pool in the summer. "

The best spa hotel in Israel

"This spa hotel is absolutely magnificent, starting with its location featuring natural views, beautiful landscapes, and herb gardens. The tasteful interior design, blending rustic and modern/classic elements, creates a wonderful ambiance. The staff is incredibly friendly, and the entire place is spotless. The hotel's restaurant offers an enormous variety of dishes in a welcoming buffet style. This was our second stay, and it has become our top choice for a vacation spot in Israel. The only disappointment was the limited TV entertainment options, which included only basic channels and no VOD."

"Very beautiful hotel well meantian very good staff helpful & professional. The room was very nice with view to the pool & sea of Galilee. Breakfast was very good. Nice gym & pool. Nice garden leads to the sea shore. We recommend this hotel very much definitely will com again."

Highly Recommended Experience at the Scots Hotel

"We highly recommend a stay at the Scots Hotel for adults who appreciate beautiful antique-style historic buildings with beautifully maintained gardens and a quiet and prestigious atmosphere. The hotel is very well-maintained and immaculate. The staff was helpful and friendly. This hotel is not suited for kids and is designed for guests over 16 years old. We will be glad to stay at this hotel again."
