"One of the best hotels I have stayed in. Absolutely breathtaking grounds and beautiful chic interiors. Everywhere you look just takes your breath away. Luxurious amenities use and generous breakfast. We really appreciated the extra small touches eg mini notes, biscotti in the room and farewell gift bag. Staff were friendly and wonderful. "

"We were initially uncertain about booking here due to some negative online comments; however, very happy we did! it would be difficult to pristinely maintain the property as it is historic and quite large, so if you’re looking for something with every modern amenity, this is not the stay for you. However, the property is a gorgeous setting and the buildings are quaint and charming. Our room was very spacious - a bit of noise transfer through the bathroom. Pool area is beautiful! Great breakfast with tons of selection. Friendly and helpful staff. Good location to easily access Cortona. "

My only complaint was an added charge for any a la carte items in the breakfast which is included in the hotel charge. For the type and cost of the hotel, this should be included."
