peaceful, and also convenient for all local facilities
I was only there for one night. Close to the former Kimberley railway station. If you like train nostalgia this is a must.

The staff at the bar was super friendly and went out of her way to help with travel arrangements into the City. The food was really good and good value too. Room was clean and big size, and it was great as a change from the same old Travellodge experience.
Comfortable stay near the centre of town (Kimberley) adjacent to the former Hardy's and Hanson's brewery.
Breakfast was the full english including toast and choice of tea / coffee - no other options seemed to be available.
Friendly staff and local punters were welcoming and interested in why you were visiting the area.
A number of options were available for dinner and the kitchen was kept busy with a regular supply of orders
Quaint. Room 6 convenient location. Definitely 3*. Bath cracked at head end but new. New shower curtain but shower button broken so hard to switch on. Basin new but taps hard to turn off. Window in bathroom awful, paint flaking off and black marks. Needs replacing desperately. More hooks please.
Bedroom large with dark wood furniture. No wifi in room but good in pub. Clean sheets and good towels. 2 radiators to keep room warm and can turn up or down. Lighting is poor. Bedside lamps fine but main ceiling light is weak so not enough light in the room. Carpet in room old fashioned but looked clean. Very good breakfast. No idea when it started or finished nor were we told when we had to vacate room.
Good for town visit . Remember 3* ...no more.
Again, this venue has surpassed expectations. Only stopped for the one night, but made to feel as part of the family. Breakfast? Got to be the best in the area.
Last minute stay in a traditional pub hotel. Room was fine and quite big although I didn't go inspecting everywhere. Had a little black around the shower but hey it's not the Hilton.
Food was lovely in the pub, arrived quickly, really tasty.
Wouldn't stay for more than a day although the village looked quite quaint until I saw two homeless people fighting outside Gregg's
THE ROOM AND THE DINING AREA WERE VERY CLEAN THE STAFF VERY HELPFUL.

I was able to park easily in the pub car park. The rooms were spacious and clean and the staff were very friendly and welcoming. I had scrambled eggs on toast for breakfast and my sisters had a full English. The food came quickly and was lovely. I would thoroughly recommend this pub and thought it was excellent value for the money.
Lovely rooms clean and spacious. Unfortunately we didn't get to try the breakfast as we missed it the 1st morning and when we went down the following morning all doors to dining area we locked and no one around to ask. Food on the main menu though was delicious and we will definitely be going back.
