Proper Sicilian villa
If you want to feel the atmosphere of traditional Sicilian life style, I do highly recommend this villa.
It matches all the images. I can only say that the garden is now smaller. This is because now on the back you can see two other villas detached from the main one.
The main villa is attached to a second smaller villa. The vila is really spacious, tidy and clean. It has everything, so you can feel like a home.
We went to Sicily with our 3y old toddler. We couldn't sit on any restaurants with him, so I had to cook every day in the villa. No problem at all. I had everything I need.
There is a washing machine facilities as well. It's on the back yard and you have to pay 1, 2 euro for a washing cycle.
Landlady Antonia and her family are very welcome and very nice people. They welcome us with a coffee and Sicilian sweets. They are living on the back in a small house and are always there to help you. Antonia speaks Italian and German, but if you are like me you either have the opportunity to learn a little bit of Italian or use google translate to communicate with her. She is such a warm person and always with a charm smile.
I think that me and my family, we were very lucky to stay in that posh villa. Our first impression when we looked around was Wow...
Near to the villa is the beach as well. You have to walk 5 min more so that you can avoid the seaweed beach, but that's ok.
Marzamemi is on a walking distance. We were walking by the sea alley to get to the old town almost every afternoon.
Pachino is the city where all go for food and other grocery shopping. There are lots of super markets which work from 9am till 12:30am and 5pm till 8pm.
You definitely need a car for food shopping and to visit other towns in the island.
Highly recommend this place for families and friends.
