The Calabernardo Apartment is located in the seaside village of Calabernardo district (Noto, Marina di Noto) in Via levanzo n 7, a few steps from the sea cliff (50 meters) and the sandy beach (400 meters).
Clean and unspoiled sea.
Very quiet area for a holiday in contact with the sea and nature.
The structure is located in a perfect position to be able to visit in a few minutes the most famous and renowned attractions of south-eastern Sicily;
 at 7 km the splendid city of Noto, capital of the Baroque and recognized as a UNESCO World Heritage Site;
at 8 Km the Villa del Tellaro with its mosaics;
Calamosche natural beach at 9 km;
at 10 km the famous Vendicari WWF nature reserve;
at 15 km the marine village of Marzamemi and the beach of San Lorenzo;
at 4 km the highway entrance to easily reach the cities of Syracuse, Modica, Ragusa and Catania.

The villa consists of 2 apartments with independent entrance:
 First floor with sea view (Red Apartment);
 Ground floor with garden view (Tortora Apartment).


Red Apartment 1st floor: 2 bedrooms, 1 relaxing living room with sofa bed for 2 people, 1 kitchen room, 2 bathrooms (1 with shower), veranda with sea view with table, chairs, umbrella and deck chairs. Washing machine, total beds 6.

Tortora Apartment Ground floor: 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms (1 with shower and washing machine, 1 with large corner bath) 1 relaxing living room with sofa, 2 single sofa beds, 1 kitchen room with dishwasher, 1 veranda overlooking the garden with table, chairs , deck chairs and barbecue, the bedrooms and the living room kitchen are air conditioned. Total beds 6.

The apartments are furnished in a modern style and are equipped with all the comforts for a relaxing holiday. We provide: hairdryer, toaster, microwave, kettle, linen (sheets / set of towels), table linens and everything needed for the kitchen.

Comfortable apartment near the sea
We stayed in the apartment in October. It was in a quiet area, about 50 meters from the rocky sea coast (a good sand beach is only 400 meteres away along the seaside road; another larger beach is about 2km away by car). Our stay was only over 3 days, so we didn't get a chance to completely enjoy all the amenities like the coal BBQ, or the outside dining table and the loungers, which our host generously provided. Everything was clean and worked well in the apartment, we enjoyed the stay, and the sound of the sea at night. There's a restaurant nearby and a vegetable seller comes by every morning to offer fresh veg and fruit from the back of his car. (However, we chose to eat at Noto instead).

This is a perfect home away from home
Considering that we picked this property from among thousands on the internet, we did VERY well indeed! Despite our lack of knowledge of the Italian language, the owner did a fine job to communicate with us in a timely and accurate manner. He was attentive to all of our needs over and above what we expected. This is a safe place for us and a car which is ESSENTIAL to profit from the exciting sights that Sicily has to offer. We would definitely recommend this property to anyone who enjoys a fine seashore view and a nearby sandy beach while remaining private and "secluded". For getting around the island we had a Fiat Panda and that size car is prefect to negotiate the often narrow city streets where one can easily get lost without a good offline tablet GPS (Sygic). Our month-long vacation experience in Carabernardo has exceeded by far our most optimistic expectations - thank you Giovanni!

2 Week Spring stay in Calabernardo at via 7 Levanzo, Noto 96017
The owner met us promptly on our arrival despite our flight being delayed for an hour. They showed us around the property ensuring we knew how things worked (e.g. the utilities such as gas, water and the wi-fi was working within 2 hours of our arrival). The owner also came out to fix the wi-fi the following day after we contacted them because of problems caused by a storm. Good kitchen facilities with gas hob, electric even, fridge / freezer and microwave all of which we made good use of. The property was clean and spacious and situated in a very quiet and relaxed road within a minute’s walk to the sea. When the sun shone in our second week we enjoyed sitting on the balcony with a nice view of the sea. We ended our holiday feeling much physically healthier and relaxed due to the mild spring climate and fresh sea air. Having left the U.K. covered in snow it was wonderful to get an early taste of the Sicilian spring, a much needed tonic at this time of year. It was a little cold at night during our first week but then we knew that this was likely to be the case in late March in Sicily. The property is situated within a 10 minute drive to Avola with good local supermarkets and Noto with it’s wonderful baroque architecture. It’s also within an hours drive to the equally scenic delights in Ortiga Island, Syracusa, Ragusa and Monica. We would thoroughly recommend a visit to this property for a quiet, relaxing holiday to recharge your batteries but also being within easy reach of both the beautiful natural scenery of it’s coastline and countryside and the wonderful historical towns of south east Sicily. It’s a good value for money property with a helpful owner willing to respond to your requests for help.

Maison spacieuse et bien équipée. Environnement très calme (Période d'Octobre) Nous avons occupé l'appartement "rouge " au premier étage. Les 2 salles de bains sont appréciables (une seule possède une douche). Agréable terrasse pour prendre les repas en extérieur.

Ottima posizione, pessima zona.
Ottima posizione in quanto base per innumerevoli visite alle città del barocco siciliano e alle sue bellissime spiagge dei dintorni. Pessima la zona di Calabernardo sprovvista di tutto tranne due bar con pizzeria e priva persino di un qualsiasi esercizio alimentare. La spiaggia di scogli, attigua, ha l'acqua molto pulita e trasparente però gli scogli in prossimità della strada sono molto sporchi, mentre la spiaggia di sabbia, che dista circa 500 metri, l'unica volta che l'ho frequentata, aveva l'acqua torbida e persisteva uno sgradevole odore di acqua putrida. Lo stesso olezzo che si diffondeva nell'aria e in casa quasi tutti i pomeriggi. La casa è comoda e spaziosa ma solo se occupata massimo da quattro persone, in quanto i due posti in più prevedono la sistemazione in due poltrone letto singole con materassini assolutamente inadeguati a dormirvi più notti. La cucina, molto datata, all'apertura delle antine dei pensili emanava uno sgradevole odore di muffa. Nonostante la dotazione di lavastoviglie, al nostro arrivo, abbiamo trovato le stoviglie e gli utensili molto sporchi. Inoltre, spostando un tavolo, abbiamo trovato sul pavimento diversi insetti, non meglio identificati, morti. Dulcis in fundo, presumo per problemi di fognature, vigeva la norma di divieto di buttare la carta igienica usata nel water ma di servirsi di un contenitore che stazionava in bagno. E' un vero peccato perché la casa ed il bel giardino intorno offrirebbero tanto. Esperienza da non ripetere.

La location est très bien située pour visiter le sud est de l'île. L'endroit est très calme. Nous avons apprécié la terrasse ensoleillée le matin pour prendre le petit déjeuner.

Casa incantevole!!!!
Abbiamo scelto la casa tramite questo sito visionando foto e video e tutto ne rispettava esattamente le caratteristiche. L'appartamento era pulitissimo e in ottimo stato, per la prima volta non abbiamo usato stoviglie di plastica tanto era la pulizia in cucina come in tutti gli altri ambienti. Tutto veramente confortevole e fresco non abbiamo praticamente mai usato il condizionatore. Il proprietario si è dimostrato discreto ma sempre efficiente e disponibile. L'ottima posizione praticamente sul mare (una splendida caletta) ha reso il nostro soggiorno ancora più piacevole. Un' esperienza che consiglierei sicuramente a chiunque. Ci torneremo.

Tre meravigliose settimane !!!
Il soggiorno presso la struttura del signor Giovanni è stato davvero...magnifico! Siamo una famiglia di 5 persone, con 3 bambini, per cui le nostre esigenze sono tante...la casa le ha soddisfatte tutte oltre ogni aspettativa. Pulitissima e arredata con gusto, si trova a pochi passi da una spiaggia poco affollata e dall'acqua cristallina. Il piccolo borgo è situato in una posizione strategica che ci ha consentito di visitare numerose localita di interesse artistico, l'Etna, le spiagge strepitose della riserva naturale e di passeggiare la sera per le srade della suggestiva città di Noto gustando ottime granatine, cannoli e arancine ! Vorrei aggiungere, infine, un ringraziamento al signor Giovanni, proprietario attento, ospitale e disponibile in qualsiasi orario...di giorno e ...di sera...tardi ! Vieni a casa vacanza Calabernardo
Attraversando la strada siamo subito sul mare , la villa bifamiliare è accogliente, spaziosa, ben curata, ha un'ampia veranda, un giardino intorno con barbecue e doccia esterna. Abbiamo soggiornato una settimana nell'appartamento al piano terra. L'appartamento è dotato di ogni confort , spazioso ben arredato e ci ha permesso di trascorrere una vacanza di completo relax. Possiamo affermare che questa sistemazione è stata la migliore, fin adesso, in Italia. Siamo grati a Giovanni per la sua cordialità , ospitalità e precisione ,che hanno contribuito a rendere migliore il nostro soggiorno.

Magnifique vacances
Nous avons loué le rez-de-chaussée de la maison. C'est une maison magnifique et très bien équipée. La Maison et linge étaient très propre et sentaient très bon. Les chambres et le linge de toilette étaient très bien préparé (comme à l'hôtel). Les propriétaires sont très gentils, et toujours disponible au moindre problème 😉. Notre avion avait 4heures de retard et Giovanni nous a accueilli très tard , je le remercie pour sa patience. La maison est calme, propre et joli. Il y a la mer juste en en sortant de la maison et une jolie plage très calme durant notre séjour.... à 5 min de la maison. Nous avons visité beaucoup de villages : Syracuse, taormina, noto, l'Etna.... Je vous recommande la maison sans soucis. Merci encore à Giovanni et sa famille pour sa gentillesse et sa disponibilité.

Perfect holiday
Great location, kind and friendly owner, close to the sea. Spacious and clean housing with well equipped kitchen. Big terrace and our own garden, even had some fresh edible herbs growing. Really felt like home to us.

eine sehr schöne Wohnung in ruhiger Lage, gut als Standort für Besichtigungstouren
Für uns zwei Personen war die Wohnung fast zu groß. Alle Verabredungen mit dem Vermieter haben gut geklappt. Er ist besonders freundlich und den Gästen zugewandt. Leider hatten wir eine Schlechtwetterphase mit kaltem Nordwind erwischt, sodass wir eine Heizung vermisst haben.

trés confortable et trés agrèable
La location est très spacieuse, très propre et très agréable. Giovanni nous a accueilli très chaleureusement. Située à 50m de la mer dans une petite rue calme, la location est très bien située pour visiter Noto, Syracuse, Catane, Marzamemi etc. Au printemps l'ile est verte et en fleur et le climat est très doux. Nous avons passé un très bon séjour dans la maison de Giovanni.

Schönes geräumiges Haus. Super Strand. Die Gegend ist ok.
Merkwürdig ist, dass Feriengäster nach jedem Toilettengang keine Toilettenpapier ins Klo schmeißen darf. Man muss diese extra sammeln und täglich selbst wegbringen. Aus der kleinen Toilette kommt jeder Nacht laute Sirene wie Alarmsignal vom Spülkasten. Keine Ahnung, was das ist und warum.

Se si è in cerca di una vacanza all'insegna del totale relax e fuori dal tempo....la casa vacanze "levanzo apartments" è senza dubbio il luogo più adatto! 5 stelle per tutto....la comodità di poter attraversare semplicemente una strada per fare un bagno in un'acqua cristallina....la posizione strategica di Calabernardo che perette di raggiungere comodamente in poco tempo spiagge meravigliose come quelle dell'oasi di Vendicari e Plemmirio e città altrettanto belle come Noto Siracusa Modica e dintorni...la disponibilità e la cortesia del signor Giovanni e di sua moglie che mettono a disposizione una casa fornita di ogni comodità dalla lavatrice alla lavastoviglie a una cucina ben attrezzata e un patio colorato da fiori e piante nonché profumato con piantine di erbe aromatiche....tutto curato nei minimi dettagli pensato per far sentire i loro ospiti come a casa propria! Tra le altre cose a darvi il benvenuto in casa oltre a Giovanni c'è anche un fantastico cesto di frutta fresca e pomodori pachino che ti trascina subito in questa terra profumata e ricca di bella gente e buon cibo oltre che di posti mozzafiato! Cosa cercare di più?

belles vacances à Calabernardo
Nous avons passé, ma famille et moi-même de belles vacances en Sicile, à Calabernardo , petit village de pêcheur, tranquille et charmant ! nous avons pu visiter la Sicile Baroque très facilement et ce fut juste magnifique. Nous avons fait de belles escapades culturelles et gastronomiques ! La maison est incroyablement belle et fonctionnelle. nous étions au rez de chaussez et quel plaisir pour les enfants d'avoir pu profiter de jardin pour jouer et de la terrasse pour manger ! merci encore au propriétaire qui a été très accueillant et chaleureux avec nous ! à recommander sans hésiter !

Un'isola nell'isola!
Quella del signor Giovanni è un'isola nell'isola: un'isola di pace e serenità indimenticabile. Non solo la casa corrisponde perfettamente a quanto presentato nella descrizione, ma offre comfort di alta qualità che possono essere apprezzati solo dopo la permanenza. Il luogo è silenziosissimo ed anche ad agosto offre relax e riposo senza pari. I locali sono freschi e, sebbene le temperature fossero elevate, non è stato necessario utilizzare i condizionatori disponibili in ogni stanza. L'ubicazione è perfetta per visitare tutti i luoghi (spiagge e città) di massimo interesse dell'Eloro senza dover affrontare lunghe tratte stradali. La spiaggia è veramente a pochissimi passi e le acque cristalline possono ristorare in qualsiasi momento della giornata (da non perdere il magico momento dell'alba!). Ultimo, ma non di secondaria importanza il ruolo del signor Giovanni, proprietario attento, premuroso, mai invadente, ma sempre pronto a risolvere ogni minimo problema e a offrire suggerimenti e consigli per vivere al meglio la vacanza. Ci siamo veramente sentiti assistiti fin dal primo momento. Meglio degli staff dei grandi hotel! Il cesto di frutta fresca e colorata che ci aspettava al nostro arrivo non era che l'inizio di una vacanza dalle emozioni indimenticabili che non vediamo l'ora di ripetere! Bellissima
Dire che sia stata una vacanza bellissima è riduttivo , siamo stati benissimo sia nella casa (consiglio vivamente di alloggiare in questa casa ) , curata in ogni particolare da Giovanni (proprietario presente e premuroso) , sia nella zona di noto , zona bellissima con spiagge e mare incantevoli . Siamo stati benissimo sia nella spiaggia di Calabernardo che nelle altre visitate , tutta la riserva di vendicari , molto bella ancha marzamemi , oritgia , siracusa . sono stati 15 gg incantevoli . Beautiful holiday , I and my family is nice time both in the house ( I would highly recommend to stay in this house ) , cured in every detail by GIOVANNI ( caring and attentive owner) , both in the Noto area , beautiful area with beautiful beaches and sea . We were very well Calabernardo beach , the reserve of Vendicari is fantasic ; the Marzamemi , Oritgia , Syracuse are beautiful city / beach / sea .

MERAVIGLIOSA
Siamo davvero felici di scrivere una recensione positiva per la Casa Vacanze Calabernardo. Per prima cosa facciamo i complimenti al sig. Giovanni per come tiene e mantiene la struttura, per la perfezione dei particolari, tutto pulitissimo, bellissimo e che rispecchia esattamente le foto che avevo visto sul sito, e per la sua cordialità nell'accoglienza, ma non solo... (compreso il cestino di frutta fresca e l'acqua minerale in frigo). Sono partito con mia moglie e un'altra coppia di amici con due bambini ed abbiamo soggiornato per 7 giorni di Luglio nell'appartamento rosso ed altri 4 giorni di Luglio nell'appartamento tortora, due appartamenti accoglienti, di qualità e puliti, che dopo poco sembravano casa nostra. Sicuramente consiglieremo ad amici e parenti la casa vacanze del sig. Giovanni e presto ci ritorneremo, per poter usufruire ancora di quell'aria di tranquillità che abbiamo respirato in questo meraviglioso posto che è Calabernardo. Ancora ringraziamo il sig. Giovanni e sua moglie per l'ospitalità che ci hanno dato, per la loro cortesia e la disponibilità con cui ci hanno accolto ed infine per la loro semplicità ed onestà. Un abbraccio forte. Casa Bellissima con tutti i comfort
Dire che sia stata una vacanza bellissima è riduttivo , siamo stati benissimo sia nella casa (consiglio vivamente di alloggiare in questa casa ) , curata in ogni particolare da Giovanni (proprietario presente e premuroso) , sia nella zona di noto , zona bellissima con spiagge e mare incantevoli . Siamo stati benissimo sia nella spiaggia di calabernardo che nelle altre visitate , tutta la riserva di vendicari , molto bella ancha marzamemi , oritgia , siracusa . sono stati 15 gg incantevoli . Beautiful holiday , I and my family had a great time both in the house ( I would highly recommend to stay in this house ) , cured in every detail by John ( caring and attentive owner) , both in the Noto area , beautiful area with beautiful beaches and sea . We were very well both Calabernardo beach is the reserve of Vendicari , Marzamemi , Oritgia , Syracuse .

Insieme a mio marito e alla nostra canina Olivia abbiamo soggiornano per due settimane nell'appartamento Tortora del sig. Giovanni. L'appartamento è veramente bellissimo così come il loggiato dove rilassarsi e ascoltare le onde del mare che si trova veramente a due passi. E' presente ogni confort e non manca davvero niente, ad accoglierci abbiamo trovato un bellissimo cesto di frutta in omaggio, davvero un bel pensiero. la posizione è ottima per visitare posti incantevoli Noto, Siracusa, Marzamemi. Anche la nostra cucciola ha trovato un giardino esterno dove correre indisturbata ...tutto davvero bello pulito e soprattutto rilassante.. ringrazio nuovamente il sig. Giovanni per la disponibilità e per l'appartamento davvero fornitissimo e incantevole.

Agréable séjour à Calabernardo
Accessible aisément depuis Catane à condition de prendre la sortie Noto, Calabernardo est un petit port de pêche tranquille. A une centaine de mètres de la villa, il y a un restaurant très sympa avec des prix intéressants. Le logement à l'étage est spacieux et fonctionnel surtout pour un couple et propre. Il est possible de se garer dans la petite rue, devant la villa. L'emplacement est idéal pour visiter Noto, Syracuse. Taormina est un peu plus loin mais sans problème à la journée grâce à l'autoroute. Nous sommes allés également voir les magnifiques mosaïques de la villa Romana del Casale.
