The Washington Manor
Meticulously maintained Captain Walter Lester house, first built in 1790 in Chelsea Parade with original copper roof. 4000sq. ft. nestled on .87 acres. Manor offers all the charm & character of a historic estate yet abundance of modern amenities. Filled with timeless antiques.
Pets are allowed with a pet fee of $200.
While the house can host up to 16 guests, there will be a $50/per night fee for guest counts over 12.

First floor - Eat-in kitchen, half bath, formal 10-seat dining room, family room, study, and Independence room with queen size bed.
Second floor - total 5 bedrooms and 2 full baths. Laundry room

Victorian room: Full size bed;
Frontier room: queen size bed;
Bonus room: queen size bed.
Third Floor (Sky Parlor) -
3 separate rooms with 4 twin size beds and one full bathroom.
Spacious eat-in kitchen w/ commercial grade gas range and built-in refrigerator.
Large secluded yard perfect for wedding and family gatherings with plenty of parking off street and street parking.
Guests have access to the entire Manor. We have staff available should any maintenance or housekeeping need to be addressed during your stay. Parking off street as well as on street.
The house is located at the "Millionaire Triangle" of the city of Norwich directly across from Norwich Freedom Academy (NFA) and Slater Museum. Enjoy downtown historical Norwich, restaurants and attractions nearby. Only minutes away to Mohegan Park, walking, wine and art trail, Mohegan & Foxwood casinos, summer activities, beaches, Yantic Falls, Slater Museum, Howard T. Memorial Park, St Patrick Cathedral, US Navy Submarine Force Museum, Crystal Mall, Fort Griswold Battlefield State Park and Mystic Aquarium. Only 15 minutes to the US Coast Guard Academy.
