"Took my wife here for her 40th birthday to take a break from our kids and have a 'slow' weekend. What a wonderful visit. Host was very communicative and helped with any/all questions we had. Next time we are going to bring our kids to enjoy the time with us. Sunrises/Sunsets are breathtaking. Peacefulness and quietness were a very welcomed break for those that live in the city. Would highly recommend for anyone wanting a peaceful retreat. Firepit was a great addition to add to that ambience. "

"The Landing was the perfect landing spot for our trip to Atchison for our nephew's fall wedding. We enjoyed the front porch with our morning coffee and the peaceful backyard at the end of the day. The decor is adorable!!! The kitchen is well stocked and the coffee bar was a special treat for us coffee lovers. The beds were very comfortable (and appreciated after our long drive) and the PILLOWS were amazing! Do yourself a favor and try the deep-fried green beans at Willies!!! You won't be disappointed. We couldn't ask for a better trip. "

"My 6 sisters and I brought our mother to celebrate a landmark birthday for her--the home was so clean! Mom loved the view of the river on all three levels of the house. The beds were so comfortable. We loved the cute artwork in the bathrooms especially. Our only problem was the gnats--they were in the upstairs bathroom every night, and there were wasps on the main deck. One of our party is very scared of wasps, so that was a turn off for her. But our stay was lovely--we were so impressed with the home, and Atchison as a whole experience. Thank you for helping us make our Mother's birthday special! "
