"Our stay was around when Helene Hurricane came through, Sept 27, 2024. The power was out so the cleaning person wasn't able to finish their task prior to our check in. However, there were clean linens and towels in the basement next to the washing machine. We also had trash bags, clean dishes and running water but no power. The cabin was nicely located in Seneca which wasn't far from the university. The cabin was also easy to find. "

If you don’t know what to do with something they reply back to you in a decent amount of time. Cabin was clean and neat when we arrived. Parking was a little tight for a truck, other than that the community is beautiful and quiet. "

"If you're looking to get away and have a relaxing stay at the lake, this is your place. Ours was a winter stay so we took water activities off the table, but the setting is ideal and the house is so well appointed that even our teenagers enjoyed themselves. The kitchen was very well-equipped which is a major plus in remote locations. We found everything we needed to prepare meals. We also enjoyed making s'mores over the fire pit.
