"We had a great harbor, sea & mountain view from our balconied room. The room, although somewhat small, was very comfortable with very nice decor & comfortable beds. "Transportation from airport bus about 5mins , but still need walk another 5mins, but the bus a little bit expensive for backpackers. it situated just upfloor the train station. The staff was nice. The breakfast also not bad and can see the view of the train and the mountains."

"The good things people say about this hotel are all true: the included breakfast and dinner are great, the ability to use a sauna is fantastic, the front desk has always been friendly and helpful. The view of the water is fantastic, and the location could not be any better. I have a few minor complaints, however: the water from the shower was lukewarm my entire stay, and the drain in my shower drained slowly so that water pooled around my feet. "Beds extremely comfy, very stressful being at breakfast due to the sheer amount of people, no tables and just people waiting or people sharing tables. Definitely not ideal. Overall though the hotel was a convenient location and was close to everything you'd need for a trip to Tromso. Room was a good size, we stayed for a week and were comfortable. The bathroom was lovely and spacious and the heated floor was a wonderful addition. We would come back but not sure we'd do the same time of the year due to the extreme amount of tourists in the area."
