"Of the places I stayed in the Carribean, this was one of the most interesting and fun. It was an ecotourism type stay in a mountainous forest with tremendous views. The bedrooms had large doors that allowed it to be open to the front deck area to enjoy views and nature while sleeping. The guest house units seem to be separate and private. "Overall we loved it, though it would have been good to know that you can't drive to the hotel if you don't have a proper 4WD as it is located at the end of a long and steep tarished road. Luckily the hotel offers an transport service for the dirty road between 8am and 5pm. They also offer food(preorder only) and drinks at the bar. The staff was very nice and always helpful. "Personal, friendly and welcoming staff. Our unit was spacious and private but needed screens in our windows. No air conditioning, so the need of fans and windows opened were necessary. Shuttle service to and from the airport need to be listed as an amenity for the property. The road to the property is precarious to say the least, and taxi cabs do not want to go the last 1/4 mile.
