"My 19-year-old son and I stayed at the Sunburst Retreat when we were in town for a tour of Kansas University - Lawrence. The location was perfect - it was a short walk to campus and Mass Street, where the shops and restaurants are located. I love how it is decorated, and it was great for us to each have our own rooms and also a living room to hang out in together. Highly recommend! If my son ends up going to KU this would be a great home base for future visits."

"Place and host were great! I would stay again but….you must know the neighbor is not so great. Parking is not so easy because of neighbor. If you’re able to walk down the hill from a cul-de-sac then you will have no issues. You must follow the rules of parking or else you will get a visit from your friendly neighborhood police officer! Just follow the rules and everything is perfect! Everyone is aware of this neighbor and the rest of the neighbors are willing to help out and work with you on...

"This property worked great for our group. We stayed for our daughter’s graduation. The beds in the main level bedrooms were pretty high, they were hard for my 75 year old parent to get in and out of. The description say there is a pull out couch but really the couches are just reclining couches"
