Lovely accomodation love the birds!
The property was difficult to find and the instructions given were minimal. I rely on the photo of the property to guide me in this street there were 8 blocks of similar flats! Weren't told that the flat numbers were listed over the doors to the block. The parking space is quite tight - I have a small SUV and would have struggled to park had the next parking space been in use. The property manager was a lovely guy and very helpful. The property is really nice but does need work. The master bedroom we were told would have premium bedding but the pillows were well used and flat and the bedding was well used and basic chain store. The shower head in the en suite would not stay in the holder so we had to hold it to use the shower - not easy. The shower in the house bathroom was not attached to the wall so that was no better. In the kitchen the shelf in the fridge was broken so couldn't be used. The kitchen taps were very wobbly and we were afraid that we would break them off! There was a cupboard handle missing. There is limited kitchen equipment and crockery. Basic but difficult to cook a proper meal. I couldn't make the WiFi work and the SKY box was not set up so we had Freeview channels only. Having said all this the property is lovely with great views over the canal (loads of water fowl). The area is mixed - great for essentials like petrol and food shopping and the local stately home is good to visit with a great cafe. At night can be slightly intimidating for lone females.
